Cabela's Salt Striker Baitfeeder Boat Rod Combo -
Team the Salt Striker Baitfeeder reel with a Salt Striker boat rod for a great big-water combo at a money-saving price.
Get natural swimming motions from your bait, and know right when a fish is on the line with the Salt Striker Baitfeeder reel. The baitfeeding system lets you set a really light drag so you know when a fish takes the bait. Then flip the lever and set the hook! The baitfeeder works in conjunction with the quick-set instant anti-reverse so you never lose a fish. A nine-ball-bearing drive provides an unbeatably smooth retrieve. Lightweight graphite body and sideplate. Anodized-aluminum spool with holes.
Cabela's Salt Striker boat spinning rod is a 50/50 graphite-glass composite that's tough enough for tenacious fish like tarpon, dorado and tuna, yet an excellent choice when your situation calls for the finesse of a spinning outfit. FujiĀ® aluminum-oxide guides and gimbal butt caps. Available in lightweight models for light tackle fishing and heavy models capable of subduing big fish.

Cabela's Salt Striker Baitfeeder Boat Rod Combo Review:

Great rod and reel combo

This is the best combo I've found for deep trolling in fresh water especially for stripers. I use the rear drag set to where the line will not go out until the bait is taken. I then flip the lever and the front drag takes over. Have had over a 90% catch ratio once the bait is taken. Most of my "stripers" have been caught in 75+ feet with many over 100 feet of water. I use 50# braid and 300 yards fit perfectly on the reel. Beats out all higher priced bait feeded reels
