Cabela's Salt Striker Line - 1-Lb. Spool -
Our new Salt Strikerâ„¢ series clear copolymer is constructed to all of the exacting specifications of high-dollar saltwater lines without the heavy price tag. The smaller diameter-to-strength ratio means that you can have more line on your reels for long, drag-smoking runs or get extra distance when casting out to spooky fish in crystal clear, shallow waters. This premium line also gives superior knot strength wet or dry. Our special manufacturing process increases the strength of the line's exterior for maximum abrasion resistance as well as protection from UV-caused line deterioration. The co-polymer construction has a core that is incredibly shock-resistant for sharp hooksets and has almost zero memory for smooth casts without line loops forming. Comes in 1-pound spools.
- We feel so confident in our fishing lines that we make, in this day and age, a very unusual offer. We invite you to field test any of our Cabela's lines for a period of 60 days. Compare them to any other lines regardless of price. If you are not 100% satisfied, return them for a full refund, no questions asked. Top 25 Category Product

Cabela's Salt Striker Line - 1-Lb. Spool Reviews:

My first purchase of Salt Striker line was to fill a spool or 2 of 6 pound test on some fresh water reels. Upon receiving the line and using it for a while I realized that it was as good as any other that I had used up to that time, and the price made it even better. I have been fishing for 60+ years. I decided to give it a try on some of my inshore saltwater reels and upped the test to 15 and 20 pounds. To say the least I was even more satisfied. I didn't believe that it was 20 pound line because it appeared very thin compared to other lines that I had been using and it performed beyond my expectations. Each year my boys and I fish the rock-strewn Eastern tributaries of Lake Ontario. These waters are particularly tough on any lines. I purchased a 1 pound spool of 25 pound test Salt Striker line with the expectation to be filling spools at the end of each day due to the beating the line would be taking with every fish run. In 4 days of fishing I only refilled one spool once and that was because the new guy that came with us for the first time got spooled by a large king salmon…the line did not fail, it just ran out. I now have Cabela's Salt Striker line on all of my reels, and it performs extremely well on my surf fishing reels. I have varying size spools of 6, 10, 15, 20 and 25 pound line. I store the spools in a cool place out of the light and away from any heat generating source. With the start of a new season I put a fresh load of line on my reels. I wouldn't be surprised if year old line would still perform well. GREAT PRODUCT!

Cabela's Salt Striker Fishing Line

I bought this line just to try it out and see if I liked it and yes, I do like it. It performs as well as more expensive lines that I have used, it is easy to knot and it does not maintain a high memory like some other less expensive brands. It has not given me any problems with breaking or knot slipping.
