Perfect suit

When I originally bought the suit I was hesitant about whether or not I would like it or not, but when it arrived I was relieved and happy with it, but I new that I would obviously have to try it out before I was fully satisfied with my new purchase. I wore the suit out at least 10 times at the end of the season. Before I start my assesment of the suit I want to point out that I did not buy the suit for scent containment, but more for the pocket lay out, lack of cold spots, and the ability to have the top tied around my waist when walking two and from my stands.
Ill start off by saying that I am a noise snob and have always worn fleece because of this, but I have grown tired of picking of the tons of burrs and stickers I pick up. I am more then pleased with the noise issue, while it does make more noise then fleece it is not loud at all and did not get louder when wearing it in cold temps (high 20s was the coldest it got here in Va, but Im sure it will do fine in WI when i move back there next year). The outer material is a low nap material that does not pick up any stickers or burrs and is a huge plus to me. The material also quiets the laminate down and also dries very quickly when wet. It's also water resistant and I did get to test it out in a light rain with out getting wet at all. Just as it is advertised the material does breathe, but I wouldn't recommended to wear it in temperatures above 60 nor would I wear it for stalking. It's also wind resistant.
With the pockets being one of the biggest reasons I bought it I have become even happier then I imagined with them. I don't really use the two chest pockets, but i do use the hand warmer pockets behind the chest pockets and the fleece material in them is very warm. They are also perfect for storing a range finder in. I also use the cargo pockets on the legs for gear. They are deep and allow very easy access to the items. Although I do not use the front chest pockets they offer plenty of space for storage and easy access. The zippers are a little louder then I would like, but they are heavy duty and welded so water does not get in.
The arms are articulated and allow for easy movement. I draw 84lbs and find it is just as easy to draw in this suit as it would be to draw in a t-shirt. The compression bands in the sleeves also keep the string out of the way, but are not tight or uncomfortable and its easy to layer with.
Unexpectedly I came to find that the full length zippers are another one of my favorite properties of the suit. The zippers allow for venting when walking to the stand and is really nice. I hate sweating and these really help cut down on that. Just like the pocket zippers the leg zippers are also welded shut.
The only con to the suit is the mouth area. I never intended on using it, but I can either fold it inside or just unzip it a little more and it stays out of the way. Taking out the carbon filter makes it more comfortable when it is folded since its not as stiff. The hood is adjustable and is nice for the rain with out limiting your hearing much. I keep the draw cord pulled tight when the hood is not up to keep it out of my way.
Finally the adjustable suspenders are awesome and make it really easy to keep the suit up when walking with the suit tied around your waist. They are really the icing on the cake for me.
Being more than pleased with this suit I have already ordered and received a second suit for back up for when one is being washed or line drying. Even though the suit does dry fast I would hate to miss just one hunt because of my suit being wet. I'm 5'9, 200 pounds, wear a 42 dress shirt, and a 32 size waist so I picked a size large and have the perfect amount of room to layer for even the coldest temps. Since this is a one piece suit you have to be careful about the size you choose because a suit that is too small can cause mobility problems. I've learned this by wearing a one piece flight suit to work for the last 5 years. Overall this is a great suit and you should buy it! You won't be disappointed.

Well made suit - just what I was looking for

The suit is well made with a vibrant camo pattern. The true fleece lined handwarmer pockets are really nice, I have stopped carrying a separate hardwarmer muff and I just use the pockets. The water proof zippers on the front pockets are nice, but a little loud. I leave them partially open if I have stuff in there I need to get regularly. The pockets are not really big so don't think you're going to fit more than a phone, a windicator, a call, or some gloves. You aren't going to fit something like range finders in the pockets. The internal suspenders are removable. While the inside kind of has a plastic coating finish, the outside is like a super low knapp fleece. It is burr resistant for sure. Fit: I am 6'1.5" and 180 lbs. I have the size Large regular. It is a great fit, I wouldn't want it any smaller with layers. I layer underneath with full season coveralls, long underwear, and a fleece vest. Range of motion is good. My brother is 6'3" and 185 lbs and he has size XL regular. He couldn't fit the large, but the XL is a comfortable fit for him. For me, the XL was really big in the chest and stomach areas. The material was actually folding over on itself when I wore it. Noise: The material is a little louder than the clothes I typically wear, but not too loud that I have any concerns. I don't wear the hood because it is pretty loud next to your ears. The noise is more of a bother to me, but I don't think the deer could pick it out. I believe the suit works, but I've only had deer downwind once since I bought it. There were two does and one bedded down at 30 yards. I don't think they ever smelled me. Some people might be concerned that these will be too warm. I've only used them below 45 deg F, but I don't think they're too warm at all. I haven't noticed really any heat build up wearing them stationary. They're wind proof, but there is no insulation. I don't think this will replace an insulated layer you normally wear. For walking in the woods the leg zippers that go almost to your waist provide plenty of ventilation. There is a nice boot cuff to keep the legs from flopping about when unzipped. Cabelas isn't claiming this is waterproof, but with the sealed seams and material, I think it would be extremely water resistant if not totally waterproof.

Useful product

I have used this suit in late season North Carolina mountain hunting works great I had deer sitting down wind till they got bored…..seems to be pretty waterproof also. I was laying on the ground and my scentlok gloves got wet but only outside of suit got damp did not seep through the scent seal layer, Sizing is great plenty of room for multiple layers six foot and I ordered a large. Hand warmer pockets are very nice edition if i say so i believe every hunting jacket should have pockets like that I also have them in my scent lok jacket from cabelas.

Containment Suit

This suit is NOT breathable! I still wear it though. It's not as quiet as it could be. Fits well. It may help to contain scent...but any form of evaporation in the suit condenses back to liquid once it comes in contact with the suit. I've worn it in low and mid temps. Every time I take it off at the end of the hunt, I notice the moisture build up inside. Anyway...I still wear it.
