Cabela's Short Shank Jig With Red Hooks -
Ideal for pitching live bait to shorelines and flooded timber, the shorter shank of these red hooked jigs makes them slide easily into the mouths of light-biting walleye and places the proper angle for hook penetration when you're making a horizontal presentation. The stinger eye in the back of the jighead is perfect for attaching a stinger hook when the fish are short-striking at the lure. Per 25.
Sizes: 1/8 oz. 1/4 oz. 3/8 oz.
Colors:(021)Firetiger, (038)Bubblegum, (114)Chartreuse/Green, (126)Glow Chartreuse/Orange, (131)Glow Chartreuse, (257)Rainbow, (711)Glow Luminescent.

Short shank jigs

I have been using these for awhile now with great success. Good product. Hard to find the short shank with the red hook. Thank you.

Great buy

Took these jigs to ontario this year, they were great! Quality hooks, deadly with the stinger. Also used them with great results in Colorado

Nice for dropper rigs

I like being able to tie a smaller jig below this one to have a something different to offer the finicky fish.

Painted Over Loop

I bought these recently for a trip to Ontario, so I can't speak to their longevity (paint, hook condition, etc.). The initial paint job was pretty decent. The hooks were nice and sharp, but the loops on a majority of the jigs were painted over and needed to be scraped off with a knife before you could run line through them. That was truly time consuming and annoying. I expected better from Cabela's.
