Disappointing

I just got my Cabela's Six-Rod Horizontal Rod Rack yesterday. I've never been disappointed with a Cabelas product until now. I purchased this particular rod rack because I have low ceilings where I store my rods, and therefore was looking for a way to hang them horizontally. If you have rods with reels attached to them it is nearly impossible to fit 6 rods on this rack. The reel from the first rod hangs down in line with where the next rod is supposed to go and so on. I guess this rack could work correctly if your rods do not have reels, but the rack is advertised with a picture of rod/reel combos. Also, the mounting design doesn't allow for a tight secure fit against the wall. Instead the rack is left hanging loose. If you wanted a tighter stronger anchor you'd need to drill through the wood yourself (there is not an area to do this that wouldn’t display the screw head). If you don't mind the loose fit and put a rod in every other rod holder the product can properly hold 3 rods. Whether a product is $100 or $20 I feel it should work as advertised. This one does not.
