Cabela's Snowy Range Boots Reviews:

perfect timing and perfect

Even after a previous review had stated these boots were heavy , the promise of warmth, clinched my purchase.Yes, they are warm, and beautiful to look at and the generous laces are perfect to adjust this excellent boot to your liking. I have larger calves and this is the first boot I can lace tight enough to snug to my ankle and still lace all the way to top(keeps snow out when you break through crust and coverall leg goes up). They arrived last night and today i had to walk and pull a 100 lb propane tank 1/4 mile in new blown in drifts to my well house; the treads are amazing, i made it there and back and feet were toasty, and it's sub zero. If you're not used to heavy or stiff footwear, it will take some getting used to,but when you do you will be so thankful for the ankle support achieved by both the sole and the ankle sturdiness. I love them so much, am so very glad I didn't
miss them. Don't be alarmed when you see the D width on label, just perfect for thicker socks (trust me,you won't need them)! I have a B foot and usually wear a 61/2 and the 7 is perfect, extra space in toe probably helps with the warmth. If you are out in sub zero weather for anytime, get these boots,Quick!

Warmth Finally

In my 57 years I have never been able to find a boot that will keep my feet warm. I have purchased several name brand boots over the years, but I've never been able to find any that would keep my feet from getting extremely cold. That is until I purchased these boots. These boots are the real ticket. I spent the afternoon recently decorating my yard for Christmas at 10 - 17 degree weather and my feet didn't even come close to getting cold. They are not boots I would want to go hiking in. They are little bit stiff, even after wearing them for a month now. One other draw back, the right boot squeaks when I bend at the ankle. I was going to return them and order another pair but they no longer have my size. But with the warmth they provide I am happy to keep them. I will use them for chores around the place here and for ice fishing. I will be looking for a pair of hiking boots before next hunting season with thinsulate in them like these have. For the price you can't go wrong.

Warm and cozy

My husband bought me these boots for my very first hunt, an elk hunt. We live in Utah and the mountains with the big elk are brutal. We hunted in knee high snow and my feet were kept warm and dry. I have a cold feet problem and these boots did the trick. My only issue is that hey were a little heavy for me but I think that's because I am not used to wearing hunting boots at all. This is my first pair and it was my first hunting trip. I am sure I will get used to them. Definitely recommend these boots.

Looking Good so far!!

I have not worn the boots yet but they fit well with 1 pair of socks. I would have felt better about ordering them if they had come in half sizes because I wear a 6 1/2 but ordered the 7. But knowing Cabela's great return policy, I wasn't concerned about returning them. The construction is good and I don't think I will be uncomfortable with the weight walking to the stands. North Flordia gets cold in January!! No more cold feet for me!
