Cabela's Speedy 'Yote Kickstand Vest -
The Speedy 'Yote Kickstand Vest incorporates all the functional changes our customers asked for, from a cooler, increased airflow back panel to an expandable pocket designed to hold large electronic calls. We even added a kickstand so you can create a comfortable place to sit wherever you are. Patented Speed Seat™ technology features a rapid stow and deploy seat that quietly flips up and down in a flash without fumbling. Once deployed, the three-layer, 3"-thick Memory Tech seat will have you feeling like you plopped down on a pillow. Individual mesh back panels allow air to circulate between your back and the vest. Wide, adjustable, padded shoulder straps distribute weight evenly and prevent back and shoulder fatigue. Adjustable sternum strap and two waist buckles allow for complete adjustability. The right side of the vest has three designated, zippered pockets with glove-friendly zipper pulls. The flip-down workstation safely secures your hand calls. Cord stays hold the pocket open for easy accessibility. A second flip-down mesh pocket stores extra batteries and incidentals. At the top, reverse-coil, zippered horizontal and slash pockets for storing maps, gloves or ammunition. A mesh pocket is practical for accessing remote transmitters. Another reverse-coil, zippered horizontal pocket provides more easy-access storage. It also has two spacious, zippered interior mesh pockets and a 1-qt. mesh water-bottle pocket on the side (Water bottle not included). Made of durable 60/40 polyester/cotton. One size fits most. Imported.

Love the vest

The only thing I don't like about the vest is that it took me forever to find it. I almost bought one a year ago and I bought another brand and style. Still very nice ($100.00) range, but I have had this vest for a few months now and have to say it is the real deal. Love keeping all my stuff together and ready to go. The chair is the best thing. One is the soft and warm seat but the other is the back support. Great idea and has held up great. I use my stuff hard and a lot. I coyote hunt almost three times a week. I have tested this to the max. Love the long drag the pockets.
If I could add one thing is to add a large bag or pocket on the back pack area of the bag. If I had a big call that would hold it nice. My hand calls and my small foxpro fix nice all in the front.
Good job cabelas on a great product.

Really Love It!

I wasn't sure at first as the vest seemed too big and weighs about 4.5 lbs empty. But there is a pocket for nearly everything and the seat is very comfortable. The kickstand adjusts easily without taking the vest off, and it is really nice to have a backrest on those long stands! The only improvements would possibly be a pouch on the back, and a way to easily pull the seat up and hold it in place while walking. One thing to note is that if you have one of the really large e-calls it won't fit in the pouch. A Wildfire fits with room to spare. All in all I love it and wish I had another in snow camo!

A disappointment

I had the TAT'R II vest and loved it. However, the leg bent and I needed to return it. Cabelas took care of me and sent me back in the store to find another. Turns out they didn't have any so I got the Speedy Yote. The Yote has one thing going for it: it's easier to get in and out of compared to the TAT'R. That very feature makes it a problem. The pockets are all too far to the sides for easy access. I'm 6' and 205 lbs. Once I put a couple of layers on or a parka, the vest is difficult to buckle and the pockets are near useless. The pocket for an electronic call is also small and located too high. My Primos Turbo Dogg takes way too much effort to zip in. Plus, I can't see the pockets below the caller pocket. Finally, there is no game bag on the back as there is on the turkey version. This bag was great for stowing a rain jacket or sweat shirt. A positive note is that it is an extremely comfortable vest to sit in. The back support allows me to set up in grass and still relax.

Speedy yote vest

I really like the vest and the pockets, plenty of storage very comfortable. The only downfall is the seat, while comfortable does not stay in place while moving. The seat needs magnets or something to hold it in place. A vest option without a kick stand would be a great option as well. I used the vest now 4 days and I only had it a week.
