Cabela's Standard Camp Kitchen Reviews:

Nice but needs better Quality Control

Unit is pretty nice overall, but there were QC issues out of box on the spice rack shelf. It was assembled upside down and one pole not finished on the end resulting in canted shelf when mounted. I didn't return since I'm handy enough to cut the pole length to level the shelf, and I actually like the shelf upside down since it now has a 1 " lip to hold the items in. Would be a good feature update if done correctly! Most people would probably have returned for exchange, but I had quick need and was able to fix the issues ok to my satisfaction. I concur with most reviewers in that the unit needs to be about 3-4" taller. I used another reviewer's idea by making 3/4" PVC pipe extensions that added 3 1/2" overall and it's almost perfect height. Also created a few extra extensions with different lengths for leveling if needed. A few issues, but I would order again.

A+

I recently revamped all my camping gear. This was a new addition instead of a replacement. Should have had one of these years ago. As with all my camping gear it is used for recreational camping as well as hunting and fishing camps. This makes my job as "Camp Cook" a lot easier. You can keep everthing organized. No more scrounging through totes to find that can of beans that is always on the bottom. The lantern hangers are great. It is almost like having the kitchen cabinets and sink from home right at camp. If you do a lot of camping this handy little item is a must.

Love it!

This is very easy to set-up and breakdown easy for graving and cooking while camping.

Disappointed. check your clearance before buying.

I initially thought this would work and now I'm not sure. The middle counter top has so much overhang on each side, I'm not able to use my main propane stove, an older, but excellent Primus model. It is about 2-3" too much overhang. I can move the stove to the middle counter, but then I have to fold the shelf down to allow for the stove lid. Would have purchased the Deluxe, but it was too long to fit my needs. The Coleman dual fuel stove does just fit, as in the picture. So check your clearance before buying. If your stove is longer than the coleman dual fuel, I would recommend another option.
