Cabela's Trans-Alaska Snowshoes -
Our Trans-Alaska Snowshoes excel in extreme-winter conditions. A revolutionary spring-loaded suspension system allows natural footing on uneven terrain for unmatched control and comfort. The system limits snowshoe rotation, for better maneuverability, and is the only system that allows the ankle to rotate side to side, while eliminating heel twist. The easy-to-adjust ratchet binding with quick-release buckles fits large boots and packs flat. Stainless steel Traverse Trac side rails and heel cleats bite into the snow while traversing and descending. Lightweight, stiff aluminum V-shape frame provides a smooth-feeling suspension. All-Trac stainless steel toe crampons ensure sure-footed traction and control. Nytex decking is durable and flexible in extreme-cold temperatures.

excellent Snowshoes

Fantastic snowshoe! This snowshoe has an excellent binding system. Once you set the rear strap, you shouldn't have to adjust it again. The front two straps use a ratchet system that makes tightening the binding easy. Its so easy that you will find yourself getting them too tight if your not paying attention. That isn't a problem since you can reverse this in a matter of a second due to its red tab quick release system. This system allows me to slip in and out of both shoes from a standing position within a minute or less. That includes tightening the bindings! I am 180 pounds and was concerned that the largest size would be too big since the weight range goes up to 300 pounds. I can say that they are far from being too big. This years snowfall here in Michigan has been extreme! We have about three feet of powder and I sink probably 10 inches with these shoes on. That makes for some tough walking. Smaller shoes would have made it almost impossible to get through, so don't be afraid of going large! This is a tough, lightweight snowshoe that I would recommend to anybody. Can't go wrong!

Great Snowshoes

Have used them almost every day since getting them. Easy on and off. Support me in all kinds of snow. Easy to walk in.

Snow Shoe

I've only worn them a few times but I love the bindings and they really hold on hard snow.

These snowshoes are excellent for deep powder. The bindings work great and I would recommend them to anyone.
