Cabela's Upland Pro 400-Gram Hunting Boots -
We took the best parts of our classic upland boots and combined them with Cabela’s-exclusive high-performance X4 technology in a sleek, modern design versatility. They’re built to do it all – pheasants in South Dakota, chukkar in Arizona, quail in Texas or huns in Montana. Strategically placed X4 cushioning increases shock absorption in the heels and maximizes energy rebound in the forefoot areas for exceptional all-day hunting comfort. Premium, super-durable kangaroo leather uppers deliver 62% more strength than equally thick cowhide, and they have a featherweight feel that reduces fatigue on high-mileage hunts. Lightweight 600-denier nylon panels boost breathability and flexibility. Innovative leather lace keepers block thorns and debris from entering the eyelets or tongue gussets. The uppers are backed by waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® membranes to keep feet dry. Reinforced polyurethane-coated cowhide toecaps prevent wear. 400-gram Thinsulate Ultra Insulation for cold-weather hunts. Medium-lug outsoles balance traction and mud-shedding performance. Heel-cradling TPR stabilizers provide solid footing. EVA midsoles and removable polyurethane footbeds for extra cushioning. Arch-supporting steel shanks. Padded leather collars and tongues. Moisture-wicking linings. Imported.

Cabela's Upland Pro 400-Gram Hunting Boots Reviews:

Very good purchase!

As an upland guide, I spend hundreds of hours in the field each year and depend on my boots to be light, comfortable, and durable. Cabela's hit a homerun with these Upland Pros! I bought my first pair this year after being a Rocky fan, and am happy I made the switch. The ankle support is excellent, the boots are light and the shanks are just stiff enough to absorb the shock, while not wearing you out. The only detractor is the lace pattern, which is too high on the boot. If you lace to the top, you end up with the knot over the top of the boot. The solution is to skip the second to last hook, lace to the top, and then go back to the skipped hook, which puts the laces exactly where they need to be.

Great Boots, not quite waterproof

Purchased these for my hubby as a replacement of heavier boots. I ordered both the 12 & 13 since other reviewers said they run small. Fortunately there is a Cabela's fairly close for returns. He is a standard size 12. Ended up keeping the size 13 and transferring the Super Feet insoles from the old boots. So I would say these run 1/2 size small. For fit & comfort he loves these boots. We hunted 2 hours in frosty brush/grass one morning and did get damp feet so I would say these are water resistant, but not waterproof. Considering they were nearly new would have thought better performance. Since we got them on a special sale price and they are very comfortable boots, these are a keeper - just not for wet weather.

good purchase but cold toes

Between these and the Outfitter Series, I bought these boots for upland game & coyote hunting.
The next day, I wore these for an 8 hour work shift and had no pressure points or aching feet. They feel as comfortable as a pair of running shoes.
My only complaint would be that my toes still got cold (to the point of slightly numb) trekking through 3 inches of snow and temperature being 5 degrees. I suspect with a good pair of socks, they will keep your toes warm.

great boots

I wore these boots all pheasant season in pa. walked through creeks, snow the boots are waterproof and warm . wore the boots the next day
they arrived right out of the box for hrs,no blisters very comfortable. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size. Fit is perfect. I am going to order the uninsulated version for warm weather hunts
