Cabela's Watersports Wetsuit Reviews:

Did it's job.

Wore this wetsuit on my first day of spearfishing for carp this season in western Nebraska in late May. Did it's job well and allowed me to hunt far longer than without a wetsuit in the chilly water this time of year. Removing this wetsuit can be a real pain: had to cut off the velcro tab that covers the rear zipper after hunting down someone to help me "unlock" it when I first tried it on. The garmet would also be much better with a front zipper instead of the rear. It does have a generous cord on the zipper to allow you to easily work the zipper (once the tab mentioned above is removed). Not thermal enough for extended activity in water temps that would otherwise give you hypothermia, but does good at giving comfort just before temps become really suitable for just swim trunks. Would be a real plus wearing for safety as a base layer on early or late season canoe & kayak trips, too.

Life Saver

I capsized a canoe on a major river this spring. Without this wetsuit and a life jacket, I would be dead. This saved me from hypothermia in 50 degree water and allowed me to scissor kick a 16' swamped canoe to shore. Nothing more needs to be said.

Works good

I used the wetsuit to waterski in Montana over the 4th of July in 62 degree water. It worked good as advertised allowing me to stay in the water for longer periods.

Wetsuit in Belize

I used this wetsuit for the past two weeks on a vacation in Belize. It was very helpful when snorkling and spearing. I would reccomend it. Travis
