Been buying these Cabela's Woollies for years now. I fish some of the big reservoirs in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and it's not uncommon to hook into several 5-10 pound rainbow trout a day plus many smaller ones. These flies catch fish after fish all day long without coming apart like others will, and you just can't beat the price. At most fly shops or bait stores you are paying almost double the cost of these flies for an inferior product.
These are well tied flies, priced so that you won't fret about losing one from time to time. Wooly Buggers can be fished as nymphs or streamers and they catch just about every fish that eats insects or small fish. If you don't know what the fish are eating or what fly will work best, tie on a Wooly Bugger.
I heard that this lure was the cheeseburger of Fly fishing. That turns out to be true. First cast with this little beauty and I caught a nice Bluegill. Within 45 minutes I caught 1 Bluegill, 2 Rock Bass, and 2 Bigmouth Bass. Cabela's shipping was excellent and I'm very satisfied.
