Cabela's XML Spinning Rods -
These updated rods are built on our legendary XML 64 million-modulus, spiral-core-technology graphite blanks. They feature lightweight, super-durable SS316 stainless steel Alps™ guides, double-coated with black chrome for maximum corrosion resistance. Precise guide spacing compacts the distance between guides from the middle to the tip of the rod. This increases sensitivity and decreases line drag. Rods have a palm-swell reel seat. Grips are made of premium cork and have thread-covering downlocking fore grips. Butts are compatible with our Weight-Balancing System, available separately.

Positive Reviews:

the best

I own many nice rods, this is my first XML, and after 15-20 times on the water and catching a crazy number of 14-16" walleyes this spring, this ultra light matched with a 1500 stratic and 5lb power pro tied to a 1/8 oz head with a minnow takes the cake. My next rod I buy will be an XML. Sensitivity is unmatched.

Neutral Reviews:

Good but not made in USA

Rod appears to be well made (haven't tested it yet with an inshore fishing trip, like I plan) however would have preferred to see a "Made in the USA" tag for the money spent. Item was a gift.
