Great bibs!

I got these with a different model (less expensive) Silent Suede Parka. I figured I'd spend big on these and stay warm. I was not disappointed! First day out it was 18 degrees with a 20 MPH wind chill of about 5. I was toasty warm on the stand and started to sweat on the walk out of the woods against the wind. Pockets are deep and easy to access with gloves on.
If you are a late season hunter and want to stay warm, spend some extra dough and get these bibs! I'm 6'01" / 180# and got the XL. Allows good motion and is not overly bulky. Good for layering, but with these you won't need more than a pair of sweat pants underneath. Sub-zero I'd add another layer.

Silent Night

These bibs are as advertised. They are very warm, comfortable, silent and in wet weather, keep you dry. They have plenty of pockets for carrying gear and they last a long time. I have had my bibs for five years and have not regretted buying them at any time.

Cabela's Dry-Plus® Silent Suede Bibs

I bought these for Nebraska hunt. It got down to 9 degrees and they kept me warm all day. No Zipper problems for me... I would buy again.. Pockets are great.

Negative Reviews:

Cheap Zipper bad news for cold weather hunter

Tried them on and loved the fit. Then i packed up and went hunting. It was 5 degrees out. I had to urinate so i unzipped the zipper and when i tried to zip it back it was only on one side. there was one too many teeth to get it back on the other side. I was not happy. My legs were warm but my chest got cold when i got back in the skiff and the wind hit the areas between the snaps and shot right inside the suit.
I figure another few dollars for good zippers on these would have been money well spent. My hunting partner said "you can take those to a seamstress and get a new zipper put in" and i explained that after the first use, i shouldnt have to replace the zipper. not happy with these, velcro would have worked better than the cheap plastic zipper.
