Cabela's Zonz Primaloft Insulated Passage Jacket Reviews:

Amazing jacket!!

I wish I had found a jacket like this years ago with the Primaloft One insulation. Hands down it is the best insulator that I have ever used. I own several casual and hunting jackets that range from fleece, microfiber, and wool. I own Filson, Pendleton, and Hidden Wolf Woolens. By far this is the warmest jacket over all others. It is light and packs into a small space. In Georgia it can get cold at times, easily down into the 20's, and it is a wet cold. This jacket handled it with ease. I would designate this jacket as a mid-layer for hunting. It can be worn by itself, and I have. However, it is a little noisy, so it is best served with a lightweight shell over it to muffle the noise. I bowhunt for whitetails mostly. You do not want to wear this jacket through the thickets and briars. That's not what it is intended for, and that environment will tear it up. It gets 5 stars from me. Now I am searching for a similar one not in camo for casual wear. It's that good!

Good layer

Just spent several days bow hunting in upstate NY with most mornings starting out in the 20s with HEAVY Frost and eventually turning pretty breezy. It was the perfect middle layer! Super light weight and warm. You don't even know you have it on, except for the fact that you're warm when you know it's cool. The material it's made of, makes it slide on over under garments easily, and your outer layer slides over it effortlessly. I did not find it to be noisey at all. When it's "stuffed", It's a little bigger than I had hoped for (about the size of a cantaloupe), but I still love it!

Buy This Coat

Great coat. Packs small. Good pockets. Very warm for the weight. Got at the sale price and it can't be beat. I use it under a shell when it's colder. Great for traveling. I wear it around town a lot and walking the dog most days. At the sale price it's a super deal. I'll buy a spare and more for gifts.

great insulating layer

Bought this jacket on sale and at that price its a great deal. I still prefer down, but primaloft is best synthetic insulation out there and easier to care for. Def warm and works great as layering piece. I would not wear as outer layer as it is a bit noisy for that.
