FANTASTIC!! My menopause prescription!

I use this for personal AND business use. I carry it in my bag and use it whenever my private summers kick in. Ah, the life of a 60 year old woman...

It's marvelous - BUT the suction cup really isn't a suction cup. I don't count on that at ALL. It will stand nicely on a horozontal surface - but for me, its best benefit is the way you can hold it. Or, sitting at your desk or in a meeting... it's marvelous. Powerful and QUIET.

I lecture and carry my Caframo fans (this one AND the MiniMax 737) in my bags and set them up during my lectures. The Minimax (they'll have a page for that one again - they're ordered) sits on my podium giving me a MARVELOUS breeze. This Tiny Tornado is fabulous for carrying around - and setting on the podium on the other side of the room.

I walk around my room a LOT. I don't just stand in one spot during lectures. It's wonderful to have this fan cool me down. I have some gorgeous silk fans that match my clothing, but when I'm THINKING and lecturing, I lose a bit of my coordination to fan myself. The Tiny Tornado takes care of that.

I've dropped it a number of times and haven't killed it! I take the blade off to put into my bag. My only complaint is that the D batteries of 2 or 3 fans are heavy trudging about a college campus... but hey - I can use the exercise!

VERY nice fan. Caframo makes quality products. Quite a few students have purchased this and the Caframo Minimax model 737 for their mothers simply from seeing me use them. It's my BEST menopause prescription - and it has NO side effects!

Many uses on a sailboat

I have used the Caframo portable fan on my sailboat for years. Because it is battery operated, light weight, adjustable and powerful, I use it in the head, sleeping berths and galley. But it's most useful use is in my engine compartment. Sometimes it is necessary to run the engine for long hours and once I am tied up to the dock I put the fan in the enclosed engine compartment to facilitate removal of the diesel fumes and heat. This is especially helpful when you have to sleep next to the engine compartment.

This Fan Is The Best Thing Blowing!

I have used this fan for the past 4 years EVERYWHERE. It goes in my purse to church, on airplanes, in restaurants. It's quiet and cools me down immediately. I've had trouble finding it online and in stores and buy in bulk when I find it. So glad you're carrying them.

Way too fragile

Unfortunately I have owned 6 of these fans. I have had so many because they are so fragile. One strong bump or a drop from a tabletop to the floor and it's over for the fan.

The suction cup just isn't and won't hold on any surface I've ever found. The belt clip is a joke as moving around ends up bending the shaft on which the propeller is fastened.

I'll keep buying them because they are the best little fan I've ever found but know you'll be buying a replacement soon.
