Saving my Brass

I used this the last time I was at the range and it worked very well. Once I was able to figure out the angle of my ejecting shells it caught every one of the spent casings. It was much nicer than reaching down on the ground and trying to find my empties. I always seemed to lose a few casings, but now it's not a problem. Make sure you use a sturdy tripod to hold the device.

Great Item

This item is great. It breaks down and fits into a small carrying bag, but once assembled, this brass catcher is large enough to be effective even when positioned a few feet away from the ejection port. When you are finished shooting, it has a zipper to easily unload your brass. This item is great and Cabelas sells it for a great price. I'm 100% satisfied.

Outstanding Product!

I took this to the range yesterday and shot about 80 rounds from 2 different gas operated semi-automatic rifles. Pros:
It caught 100% of the brass.
It folds up and has it's own storage bag which fits nicely in my range bag.
No damage from the hot brass.
It was easy to assemble. Cons:
I'm still looking for one.
