Great circuitry teams with a low-profile design making these E-Max muffs an excellent choice for rifle and shotgun shooters. Action shooters will find them especially useful because the design won’t interfere with mounting a gun like some bulkier muffs can. An integrated microphone in each muff amplifies sounds below 85db so that you can hear normal conversation, range commands and ambient sounds normally in stereo. These muffs offer noise reduction rating (NRR) of 23db to help protect your ears from louder noises. Power is supplied by a pair of AAA batteries (not included).

Great for the price
Bought these as my first pair of electronic muffs. For the price, they are excellent. Good noise reduction, low profile, etc. Never obstructed the gun mount. Always cut out with gunshot. They are starting to cut in and out, sort of sounds like white static on a TV. They are about 4 years old, and I have used them for both hunting and range shooting. I think 4 years of life out of this cheap pair is good, especially with some light water exposure while waterfowl hunting. If you're on a budget, this is a great pair.
Ear muffs work as advertised-now that is nice
Very happy with how well they work and how comfortable. Even use them in the shop, as soon as a tool gets too noisy they sound disappears.
