A tension knob adjusts resistance of the pivot motion. Connect the sling under the bipod base. Three versions available for shooting positions from prone to sitting or kneeling.

Pivoting model has a lower portion that pivots independently from the upper stock mount for quick leveling.

I have used Harris bipods exclusively and have just recently decided on getting one for sitting (getting older and tend to sit more than I walk now. Lol). Saw this in the Cave on close out and can say, for the $$$$ it is a better buy then the Harris. Does the same thing at a lighter weight. Looks to be the exact design though the Harris feels a bit more solid (but weighs more). It does what it's supposed to do and very well. Only time will tell regarding its durability but from all initial indications I don't see any foreseeable problems. A very well done clone at a great price.

Negative Reviews:

Get a Harris!

I bought this since it was on clearance and I was in the market for a taller bipod. I purchased the 13-27" version and it works but....maybe it's the weight of my bench rifle (16 pounds) but the legs want to fold in with any rear ward pressure. The foam is already coming unglued and I only test fitted this, haven't fired a shot yet. It's suppose to pivot but this thing wants to swivel. This will end up on a different, lighter rifle it wasn't intended for and I will purchase another Harris. There is a reason Harris is the best and I would rather pay full price for quality then waste money on a sale price.
