These are grest!!

I have two of these that are in constant rotation...

While they are supposed to be for ages 3 and up due to small parts I have been using with a 2ish year old for almost 9 months now.

Ours have, for the most part, not leaked at all. Not at the bottom of my packpack during the daily 45 min each way commute, not in the car when they drop to the seat opened, and only a tad on the airplane when I forgot to relieve the pressure.

I do make sure that the top is snapped shut when going in the backpack because there is the off chance that the spout will get squeezed and water will come out. But even when it isn't closed I don't really get leaking (unlike, say, the foogo which is free flow all over the place when not upright - open or closed).

The spouts are typical bite valves and don't seem to pose any problems to my kid. It takes some effort to get water out but nothing out of the ordinary for a bite valve.

As for biting - seeing as they are bite valves they are fairly resistant to toddler teeth but anything will be destroyed if pointedly gnawed upon.

These Bottles are Wonderful

We purchased these for out kids when they were about 1.5 years old. We got sick of buying the junk that you get in typical retail stores that last only a month or so and then leak. Under the "cons" section, I said that they leak, but only when we have been on flights and the cabin pressure changed. Then, they leak so be ready for this. These are a little more expensive, but have replaceable parts. Our kids love them and now all of our friends have them for their kids too.

the best sippy cup

I have given these as gifts to family members with toddlers. The very best zippy cups around. Once they learn to drink from a straw they love this cup. My grandson has been drinking from one since he was about 14 months old & now he is 22 months & still likes it. You can buy extra straws & mouth pieces. Easy to take apart & clean.

Loved it!!

I gave this to my niece and she absolutely LOVED it. It is a perfect size for her and can handle the countless times she drops it.

Negative Reviews:

Poor bottle

Bought in April '13 and tossed 4 months later. Was very easy for kids to learn how to use, but hard for them to snap the spout up (age 2). Started to constantly leak. When spout is snapped closed, the water pools inside, and is flung out when you open the spout. If the spout is open, you'll find the bottle sitting in a pool of water. After one month, my kids had already damaged the spouts from biting on them. Then it was hard to get a constant stream of water. Easy for the straw to be knocked loose in bottle. A pain to remove the bite valve and reassemble after cleaning. Another child cup that was a waste of money.

Horrible leaking problem

We have tried these many times over the past 5 years. I have purchased replacement valves but still have the same leaking problem. Oddly enough they don't leak when there is water in the cup, but any other beverage does. We have huge puddles of milk or juice with the lid open or closed.
