After a hard workout or a long hike, there is nothing more refreshing and healthy than a swig of water from a glass!

  • Simply unscrew the cap to uncover bottle's wide-mouth opening for easy filling and cleaning; opening is compatible with standard 63mm caps, filters and accessories

Traction and Grip:

  • Bottle is made from glass, which is naturally BPA free and doesn't retain taste; silicone sleeve protects the bottle from impacts and ensures you have a good grip on it

  • Not for use with hot liquids
  • All CamelBak Glass eddy water bottle components are dishwasher safe (top rack only)

Great Glass bottle

I like to sip a lot of water through-out the day at work. I was getting unhappy with my plastic water bottle and found this glass bottle to be a perfect fit.

I bought this bottle with the purple sleeve, and I love it! The color is soft and soothing. The silicone material is pleasant to touch. I can sip through the straw comfortably. The wide mouth makes it easy to clean inside. It is a bit heavier than my plastic bottle (as expected), and the advantage is that it doesn't tip over easily when it is almost empty. It has a sturdy solid construction and sits very stable even with the sleeve on. My bottle says "Made in France" at the bottom.

If traveling in a car with this bottle, I would recommend loosening the cap ever so slightly, otherwise water tends to travel out of the spout. After that, there are no more spills/leaks.

(I got rid of the little plastic cap as I thought it was a bit annoying to keep removing/replacing it every few mins)

I would like the bottle to be available in different sizes. Right now, it is available in 24 oz size, but I am targeting drinking 64 oz a day. So, it would be great if it could come in 32 oz size, so I don't have to fill up so often, and easier to keep track as well.

Overall, I love the bottle and plan to buy one for home as well.

An interesting but heavy solution

there is something about this bottle that makes me want to grab it. i love the throwback nature of the glass bottle, and the sheath around it makes it easy to hold without slipping. it is easy to clean. i like filling it the previous evening and putting it in the refrigerator so it's very cold the next morning - then i put it in an insulated carrier, which keeps it cold and helps protect the glass.

on the downside, this weighs quite a bit more than a comparable plastic bottle. and, though it hasn't be an issue for me, dropping a glass bottle might not be ideal.

i see this less as a great option for people who use a water bottle regularly in their home, office or car, or otherwise carry water around but don't plan to expose the bottle to much abuse. because it is glass and easy to clean, it might be a better option for juices and teas that might stain or leave an odor in a plastic bottle.

Awesome in my eyes!

Love this! I think its so much sleeker/better looking than the usual plastic camelbak bottles. Yes its a little heavier........but come on its glass! As long as you aren't planning on hauling this on a weekend hiking trek the weight isn't bothersome. I love grabbing, filling it up & taking on car rides to trail heads. Then I switch to the lighter plastic version for the hike. Plus I love the fact it does not get all beat up & scratched like my plastic bottles.
I also like to use this for everday use at work. Dont have to worry about screwing off a cap all the time or spills!
One downfall (not just this one in particular) is if you put in a powder flavor to mix with water it has a tendancy to retain the taste for awhile.

I bought this water bottle in the Purple and I love it. It is a very pretty color. I use the bottle for everyday water drinking purposes. The bottle is durable. I wish the capacity was a little larger as I have to fill up frequently. It takes a little while longer than normal to clean as you need to take the lid/straw apart, but it's worth it as I never have problems with water leaking.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my Glass CamelBak!

I love my CamelBak bottle! So much that this is my second glass one. I also have a metal one for biking. The rubber protector on the glass bottle keeps the sweat from rolling down the bottle --even when filled to the brim with ice on a hot summer's day. It also serves as a buffer when the bottle is dropped. Did I mention they were durable!?!

Good alternative to plastic

This is very similar to a regular plastic camelbak water bottle. I bought it because I would rather use glass than plastic. The only drawback is that it is quite heavy, but that is to be expected since it is glass. Overall, great water bottle!

Great water bottle

This is a great option because it's glass. I've already dropped it several times, and it doesn't break!
I would have rated it higher, but it has a straw, which I'm unclear how hygienic it will be after long-term use.

Great for Office Hydration

Works as advertised. Good for toting around the office. Like the glass for frequent use.

Negative Reviews:

expensive & poor spout design

rubbery drinking spout makes drinking more of a sucking out the water effort. Can't get alot to drink at one time..more like sipping. Spout design makes cleaning out inside impossible which is a huge negative since it's like drinking through a scuba regulator- Yuk! good idea -needs some tweeking.
