CamelBak Flow Meter -

"Before the Camelbak Flow Meter I always had one of two problems. Either I ran out water in my bladder because I drank too much, or I was so concerned about saving water that I didn't drink enough. Now I set the volume of water in my bladder and The Flow Meter keeps track of my water level. It's like a gas gauge for water bladder. Not only that, it really lets me tap my inner gear dork. I figured out how much water I lose every hour during a run. (1 Liter in case you are interested) Now I can have the Flow Meter keep track of my water consumption and tell me if I am drinking too much or too little. With the help of my Camelbak Elixer tablets, I can now regulate my electrolyte levels on long runs. That's right. A review within a review. Blowin' minds, that's just how I roll."

A Water Flow Meter from CamelBak is utilized to convert a CamelBak reservoir into an intelligent and manageable hydration system. This flow meter features a water gauge to accurately measure how much water you drink and how much is left in your reservoir, is programmable to monitor hydration goals, and easily integrates with any CamelBak hydration pack reservoir. You can program the water flow meter to monitor fluid consumption for your personal hydration needs, and calculates the estimated time until your reservoir will be empty so you can easily plan future water refills. This cool CamelBak accessory displays exactly how much water you've taken in so you don't have to remove your pack to check how much is left or keep asking yourself, "Do I have enough water left in there?" Seriously, stop talking to yourself.

CamelBak Flow Meter Review:

TO BAD IT SUCKS

This would be a very useful tool if it worked. It's main shortcoming is that it is grossly inaccurate. And thats the bottom line. All the bells and whistles it comes with are useless as a result. I finished my 100 oz bladder and according to my "trusty" Flow Meter, I had only drank 44 oz. That can be Dangerous thinking that you have plenty of water that you dont actually have. FAIL! DO NOT BUY. Wait until Camelbak comes out with one that works.
