| We just got back from a backcountry skiing trip on Roger's Pass, British Columbia where I got to really test out this pack. I love the size of the pack. For being so compact it holds everything I need for a long day out in any conditions. The only downside is that the zippered compartment that holds the hose in the shoulder strap of the pack is way too tight to get the hose in and out easily. You have to remove your gloves to get it in and out of the zippered slot. This exposure can cause frostbite in extreme temperatures. The upside is this insulated zippered area seems to keep the hose from freezing in the most extreme conditions. I would just suggest the manufacturer make the slot more generous in size. | |

| I just recently upgraded from and old MULE to this pack, and I have to say it was a great decision. Just got back from Squaw Valley in California. Held all my gear and extra layers. It was very comfortable the whole day, I ran almost every blue and back run in the place and it never slowed me down. being able to strap the board onto the pack was also a great feature, allowed me to walk up higher on the mountains for the fresh stuff and made it easier going and coming back to my truck. Altrec shipped it fast, also had the best price. Thanks guys. | |

| I have used this pack all over, from skiing resorts to summer day trips in extremely hot weather. It does the job and then some. It has a perfect camera pocket on the waist-belt and carries skis diagonally. The only problem I have had is with the bite valve; it has a valve to shut the flow off at the bite bite valve and it comes out pretty easily creating a siphon that can get you all wet. It is just a small piece, and to lose it would be terrible in the backcountry. | |

| Plenty of storage space to hold an extra layer of clothing and food. The waist-strap makes carrying the pack feel like it's not even there even with the bladder full of water and the pack stuffed full of supplies (GPS, food, heat blanket, etc.). The ability to strap skis to the pack came in handy more than once. The insulated water tube never came close to freezing. | |
