great for side country skiing

Bought this pack for winter hydration and the ski carry system. It works well. On 10-40 min hikes, skis strapped on well and were very comfortable to carry. The pack is lightweight, small enough to be comfortable on the lift, yet large enough to pack a lunch and a few layers. The mouth piece will freeze on cold days, but if you make sure there is no water in it and lock it every time it works well (the tube usually does not freeze).

This Camelbak is perfect for me. Enough water and cargo space for a day hike, especially in the snow. The insulated hydration system is wonderful and the pack is lightweight. The Winter Weather color is also really cool and looks a lot better than the picture shows.
