CamelBak Stainless-Steel Better Bottle - 25 fl. oz.

Hiking & Camping > Water Bottles & FlasksRated: **** by 4 reviews.

REI

Take comfort in knowing your drinking water is securely stowed in the sleek and clean CamelBak Stainless-Steel Better Bottle.

  • Stainless-steel bottle is naturally BPA free, stain resistant and taste free; no coatings or liners are used on the interior
  • CamelBak's Big Bite valve eliminates awkward drips and spills; just bite and sip and the beverage flows through the valve—you don't even need to tip the bottle to drink
  • But if lifting and tipping is your preferred method, no problem; just remove the straw inside
  • Big Bite valve has an articulating stem, so when not in use it folds down next to the bottle and stays clean
  • Carry the integrated handle in the crook of a finger, or connect it to a pack or waistbelt with a small carabiner (sold separately)
  • Simply unscrew the cap to uncover bottle's wide-mouth opening for easy filling and cleaning; opening is compatible with standard 63mm caps, filters and accessories
  • Specially shaped bottle fits nicely in your hand and in most automobile cup holders
  • CamelBak does not recommend the use of carbonated beverages with the straw configuration; remove straw and drink by tipping and sipping
  • Please note: bottle is single walled and may get hot to the touch when used with hot liquids

Positive Reviews:

Pretty good. Very satisfied.

Rating:*****
Pretty durable, I haven't dented it yet. I like the design on the bottle and the easy-to-sip "bite valve stem bottle" flip top. I also like the fact that the bottle is leak-proof (I turned it upside-down with the flip top open and no leaks!)! However, I notice the printed image design on the bottle does scratch off and gets scratched overtime. And water remains cold for about 4 hours. But overall I am satisfied and rate this product a perfect score.

Great product. Easy to use. Not dishwasher safe, though.

Negative Reviews:

Didn't like drinking from it

Rating:**
Must have been invented by someone raised on 'sippy-cups'. Not only do you have to bite-and-suck simultaneously (so you don't get much at a time), but the stem is too short to reach to the bottom of the bottle -- so you can't get the last liquid out.
However, it doesn't leak.
