If your hose is a little short...

Rating:****
When I took the bladder out of my Camelback and put it into my Kelty Shadow backpack, the hose came up a little short. This enabled me to add just the right amount of length to make it work. On the down side, it seems like it may slightly reduce the flow rate.
Jaames at REI on 09/12/2007

does what its supposed to

Rating:*****

it makes a good extender or replacement tube. my tubes get moldy long before the hydration bladder, so this is the best way to replace the tube. just put the end in boiling water for a few minutes, and it will easily fit over the valve on the hydration bladder.

"Yay water"

Rating:****
Works great. I mounted a Camelbak on the rear rack of my bike and used this to allow the tube to reach to the handlebars, where I could lean over & sip whenever I wanted.

Super

Rating:****

Love it. Makes it a bit harder to get water out. I run it from the trunk bag on my bike, along the frame and to the handlebars to make sipping easily available.

"Just what I needed. I love it, you'll love it!"

Worked great as a replacement tube for my Camel-not-for-the-bak-but-for-the-waist water hip-pouch thingy!
John at Moosejaw on 07/11/2008

Worked Great

Rating:*****

I didn't notice the water flow being slower. I was impressed.

"This is an easy fix that requires no cleaning..."

Why scrub when you can replace and recycle???

Negative Reviews:

Do you need it?

Rating:**

Not necessary unless you need a very long extension. Also should come with insulation to keep hose from freezing.
