The new color ways promise to make the Armour series even more popular than they have already become! In addition to modifying the graphic patterns to give the helmets a new edgier look, we have also added completely new color ways to every part of the line. In the Senior, the standard colors have been made more bold and a white version with orange highlights has been added. In the Lady, we have added a white version with pink highlights and for the Juniors, we have reversed the patterns on the red model to create a white helmet with red highlights.

Not so bad

I found climbing helmets are kind of like shoes and can vary depending on the brand and the person. I was in the store and perhaps I have a smaller head than usual, but this was the ONLY helmet in the store that fit me. They only had 2 brands in the store that were women specific, Petzl and C.A.M.P. This fit fairly well with adjusting, while the Petzl remained too large, even at the smallest adjustable setting. Don't care so much for the color, but I found it to be pretty comfortable.

Womens Climbing Helmet

I bought this specifically to work at camp. It fits perfect in my day pack and is light weight! I thought it looked smaller than previous helmets I had worn but once I tried it on, it fit perfectly! Many people I work with now wear this brand of helmet.

Negative Reviews:

Too small for this woman

When my fiance and I decided to purchase climbing helmets, he decided on the CAMP USA Armour men's helmet. It looked like a good helmet, so I decided, being a woman, that I would get the women's version. When our order arrived, mine was too small for my head, while his fit me perfectly. I looked up the specs online and found that the women's helmet fits head sizes 54-57 cm, while the men's helmet fits head sizes 54-60 cm. Yes, that's right: the women's helmet fits a subset of the men's sizes, without going any smaller, and did NOT fit me, although I don't think I have an unusally large head for a woman. On top of that, looking at the two helmets it seems that the interior part that fits around your head is about the same size for both helmets, but the hard shell itself is smaller. With the women's helmet adjusted as big as it goes, the back strap actually seems to sit somewhat outside the shell part of the helmet. Overall, I see no advantage to purchasing this helmet over the men's version. The only difference is that it will fit fewer people.

Pretty Good, Poor Quality

I bought this helmet because it seemed to be a good bargain. Additionally, unlike most helmets these days, it isn't bright blinding highlighter orange. I was totally satisfied with it until it broke. Since it's only been two weeks that I've had it and it was the first time I went out with it, I assumed it'd be fine. Unfortunately, the cap that adjusts the size of the helmet popped off, releasing the plastic that actually tightens it. After one day, the helmet is now pretty much unusable. I'm going back to my local EMS store to see if I can get a replacement, but I want to warn everyone looking into this: if you're the kind of person who doesn't want to worry about their gear getting bumped around too much, definitely don't buy this helmet!
