| I actually bought and then returned these shoes, so you might wonder why I still gave them 4 stars. They're comfortable. The leather is very soft, but it's literally a single piece of leather, no padding or lining of any kind. The footbed is completely flat, there is absolutely no arch support. And the sole is incredibly thin without any kind of heel. You end up feeling like you're wearing a moccasin or a slipper or something. They look cool, but for this much money you feel like you're not getting very much. I was also very skeptical of how durable they were going to be, and since I walk a few miles to and from work that was a concern. Hey, if you want a fashion shoe and are willing to plunk down the change, go for it. But for an everyday walking shoe, there's no way. | |

| The Camper Peu is the best shoe I've bought in a long time. The soft leather and glove-like fit make them very comfortable to wear. One thing to note is the sizing is off a bit. I normally wear 8 1/2 and a 41. In these shoes (just this style, not all Campers) a 40 fits perfectly. I am curious to see the long-term durability of the elastic lace and how to get replacements. | |
