Works well for me

I wanted something that allowed me to load up my truck, drive somewhere and set up camp. I liked the idea that it does not have a floor in it, so I don't have to unload my supplies from the bed before I set up the tent. The biggest problem I had is that my truck does not have anchor points in the bed and this tent really needs them. You can make it work by connecting the straps from each side together, and this is okay for the straps of front, but having a strap across the back of the bed is an obstacle I didn't want. So, I built a false floor for my bed and added anchor points in each corner. This tent is very roomy and I think it has good ventilation. If I'm not sure it's going to rain, I only attaché the rain fly to the front two clips and then fold the fly over towards the front of the truck. This leaves the top vent 90% open and both side vents are completely clear. If it starts to rain, I climb out and just drag the fly to the back and clip it in. takes about 60 seconds.

Fit and Function

I purched this and the fit was realy Ugly to say the least. The night I tested it was around 38 Degrees and it Sweat really bad. I intended it's use on a 2011 Ford F150 6.5' Bed. Not happy at all with this one. I should have remembered how nylon tents sweat. Yes I did use the Fly also.

Poor quality

I received this in the mail today. Took it home and excitedly set it up. Incredibly shoddy workmanship. Threads hanging loose from seams that would pull the seam apart if pulled. Pole sleeves had tears. Seams were so porous. My excitement turned to major disappointment. Exchanged it the very next day. There is no excuse for such poor quality.

After about an hour I gave up on assembly. Couldn't get the rod ends in place. Maybe two people could manage. I had no help. Returning the product.
