A warm shout-out to Amelia Earhart.
Shield your face from snow and wind with the Canada Goose Aviator Hat when your prop plane crash lands somewhere between Juneau and Anchorage. It could be worse, because the coyote fur surrounding the face catches snow and wind before it turns your face into a frozen lump of flesh. The water-resistant shell fabric prevents melting snow from penetrating to your warm head as you start a signal fire. The chin buckle secures the ear flaps over your ears or folded on your head when you need to listen closer for a rescue helicopter.

Canada Goose Aviator Hat Reviews:

I got this hat for my trip to the Arctic in February. Yes, it looked silly, yes it was entirely too warm to wear around Connecticut this winter. But once we reached Dawson City, I broke this baby out and was so glad I had it with me. As a rule, I'm not a fan of fur. After doing some reading, I decided that it was the best option for the conditions I would be in. There's a reason the native population use fur - it serves a real function. At -40 (which is the same in C and F) with a wind, I was completely comfortable. The down lining kept my head warm, the flaps covered my ears, the back of the hat completely covered the back of my head, and the fur kept the wind out of my face, adding extra insulation. If you're not dealing with extreme cold, this hat might be overkill. But if you are, it's the only way to go!

I love this hat! It's got two modes, which I call "Russian" and "Canadian".
In Russian mode the ear flaps are clipped up to the top and it looks like someone frisbee'd a road kill onto your head... In a good way though!
In Canadian mode the flaps are down (and can be secured by the strap if it's cold and windy) and it looks like someone frisbee'd and then glued a slightly larger road kill onto your head!
Of course it's mega-warm.I was walking around one windy night at -25C with a buddy and he had a beanie on and was rather chilly, whilst I was quite toasty thank you. The coyote fur is soft and wind/snow proof. The hat is also down lined. I think it looks awesome (some of my friends disagree!) and I've had randoms come up and take photos of it.

A Very Fine Hat.

When I first saw the Canada Goose Aviator Hat I started salivating. The fur looked so majestic and the colors were something out of a dream about colors. I saw myself staring out from behind the gently waving strands of fur, proud to be crowned with such an awe-inspiring hat. Then I saw that it was coyote fur. Coyote fur! An animal that wouldn't think twice about ripping me to shreds, would sit comfortably on my previously chilly head. Natural rivals, Goose and Coyote, together in a single piece of apparel, like a fashionable paradox built to impress at any outdoor snowy get together. It says something. Something real. A goose filled, coyote fur-lined, aviator cap that simply says "Cunning."

I Love this Hat. Used it for the past 3 weeks to deal effectively with the blizzards we've experienced. It kept the blowing snow off my head & really felt warm the whole time was shoveling snow. Worth every penny. For kept my face from getting pelted by sleet/snow combo during this last NorEaster. Have the matching Aviator Jacket too.

Amazing, stylish, and warm!

This hat is great. The fur feels amazing on your cheeks and it is so warm. I just got it so have no idea about durability but am guessing that it is like other Canada Goose products and is amazing.

Really nice comfortable hat, but fur isn't as soft as I thought it would be.

Great hat that keeps you warm, but the fur isn't that soft. Looks amazing

Really comfortable and warm.

Great hat but it's kind of hard to justify the price.
