Canada Goose Kensington Parka Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I've been wearing this coat everyday for about a month, so I can comment on its performance fresh out of the box.
I bought this jacket because I commute by bike even in rain and snow. I needed something for the winter months that covered my thighs and butt and also had protection against extreme cold, water and wind. There are actually very few jackets out there that do all this. I have a waterproof gore-tex shell jacket that is great for everything else I do, but I need coverage on the legs and much more warmth for the winter. My commute doesn't exceed 20 minutes usually but in those 20 minutes of rain and snow the jacket held up beautifully. The droplets stayed on the surface rather than soaking in. The coyote fur trim deflects snowflakes and raindrops and the whole hood keeps my head warm without slipping off. I am 5'7" about 135 lbs and I ordered the Medium. I could have probably fit in the small as well but I have long arms so I wanted to be sure I was completely covered. It fits well with a bit of breathing room in the waist and bust (i'm a 34 A). The arms are plenty long too and have this great inner sleeve. They even reach my hands when I'm sitting on a bike. My one complaint with the size is, as another reviewer said, that the neck is too tight when it is zipped up all the way. This is annoying, but you can get around it by wearing a scarf and keeping it slightly unzipped at the top.
The quality appears to be top-notch. They are still made in Canada which to me is very valuable. It is by far the warmest, most comfortable winter jacket I have ever owned, and hope to wear it for many years to come. It is so warm in fact, I often have to walk around with it unzipped if it even slightly above freezing. It changes winter completely when you aren't shivering all the time!
It also still looks very stylish. It's bulky as most warm winter jackets are, but the logo design, the quality of the material, and the cut make it the best option out there

I absolutely love this coat! I have worn the Patagonia Tres Parka for years now and recently purchased this coat because I was in desperate need of a good hood (The Patagonia hood is extremely lacking). While I normally would avoid wearing fur, the fur does an amazing job in breaking the wind which is key for me as I walk a mile each way to work in a wind tunnel in Chicago. The length is perfect (I am a 5'9" and the extra length helps)and the fleece lined pockets are a huge bonus. Also, I got this in the military green and love the color.

I purchased the Canada Goose Kensington coat for my daughter (age 25) who always wears a small or x-small in most brands. The size charts also confirmed my decision to purchase a size small. It fit her but was tight through the back, underarms, and the sleeves looked a bit short. So, the small was returned. It is not easy to find a size medium in this style after the holidays. If you're at all on the fence about size, order up! I gave it a 5-star review for what I saw of it's construction and materials alone as it was never worn outside.

Negative Reviews:

I have wanted a Canada Goose coat for years and finally decided to treat myself for Christmas. Consider myself a savvy online shopper, appreciate sites that have reviews. Did my homework, not afraid to pay for quality. Initial impression, delivered in a 2 plastic bags...even Zappos uses boxes, fit was tight - size small, no room to move... I'm 5'7", 120 lbs... PLASTIC zipper??? which doesn't work, left pocket warmer is not sewn together... left it on the hangar overnight to check next reaction... Couldn't return this fast enough.
