Cane Creek IS-3 Headset

IS stands for "integrated system", and is so-named because the the ISdesign uses no cups. Instead, the bearings rest inside the head tube ofthe bike's frame, which has been specifically designed to cradle thebearings.  An IS headset cannot be retrofitted to an existing bike with traditional headset cups.
