Good for the price you pay

Rating:****
I'm 5'11, 170lbs and do body weight exercises daily! (US Marine).I have some pretty long arms, so I have to bend my knees just a tad (which is a lot better than most things I've used). The wide grips aren't wide enough for me, but only slightly, so it'll take some getting used too.The pad for your lower back is also just a tad bit low, but nothing where it hurts. This is just a pet peeve with situp things, but the pads for your feet could have been longer to make the bar tighter and so it wouldn't move as much. Again, just a pet peeve, but it doesn't affect your situps that much. The only thing I actually hate about this, is the dip handles. Maybe I'm spoiled becuase I used to have a nice BodySolid tower where they were welded into place, but the screws just don't seem to get tight enough. The handles move around a bit when you're on them. I just see it as an extra challege, but again...it's probably just my OCD kicking in saying that it shouldn't move. But, I'm happy for what I paid for it. I was going to get those cheaper ones, but I heard about how they bend. So far so good with this thing. Can't even feel the metal flinch. [...]

well built

Rating:*****
I try to use this product 5 times a week. It is very sturdy and it seems well manufactured. I have gained strength and agility in other sports by using it. It was a lot cheaper than a bowflex. The tower works very well and I enjoy it.

If you have one piece of equipment...

Rating:*****
If you have one piece of exercise equipment, this should be it. You can do a full, upper-body workout, and it takes up a lot less room than a weight machine. Add walking or running for legs and aerobics and you will be fit as a fiddle!

For the price you can not ...

Rating:*****
For the price you can not beat what the tower allows you to do. Dips, sit ups, push ups, leg raise (for the abs), pull ups ( at two different hand positions). I love this product. It's a good addition to my small collection.

Great Product

Rating:*****
This is a very good piece of equipment. It is a lot sturdier then i expected. It was a pain to put together, with poor instructions, but it is a great workout product. Get One!!!

Negative Reviews:

Cap Barbell VKR Tower

Rating:**
This is the worst power tower ever. Even the spartan tower is better than this. The company has many misdrill holes which makes it impossible to complete the unit. The instrutions menu sucks, it only has 2 pages. [...]. This unit is a waste of money. Go for something more expensive. Even if you need to save money. I promise you, getting this system will be a regret.

Neutral Reviews:

A pain to set up, dip bars do not lock.

Rating:***
It's good for the price, but the dip bars are moveable but you can't lock them into place. Overall it's a good buy but the instructions are horrible too.
