| Like a second skin - This was my second choice for Capezio shoes, since the first, the Capezio Oxford, was laughingly small for its stated size. I overestimated intentionally for this one, ordering 1/2 size larger. I'm accustomed to wearing casual shoes with roomy toes. After two hours of practice, my toes felt a little pinched, especially the smallest toe which rubs on the edge of the shoe's toe reinforcement. However, I think this shoe will break in well. The heel is smaller than a regular dress shoe, which enables turns well but is not quite so stable. I am not an expert dancer. These are the first real dance shoes I have bought. I feel like I have a lot of control over the floor. These shoes hug your feet comfortably and bend where the foot bends, probably more so than full-sole models. | |

| This one's a winner! Don't let the narrow look of this shoe scare you. I bought them for my husband who has just begun ballroom dance lessons. He was not used to wearing a shoe that fits like a glove. But after one night of dance, he said these shoes were the right choice. He has danced up to three hours at a time wearing these shoes, and never complained about his feet hurting. I don't agree with people who say you don't need a nice dance shoe if you are a beginner. Good shoes make you feel like a dancer, and make turns and movement in general so much easier. I ordered his shoe 1/2 size larger than street size, and it fit perfectly. I find that most dance shoes run small. | |

| Slim and Soft - When I first opened the box the shoe looked so narrow I said "no way". But when I put them on they were like wrapping my feet in the softest kid leather. The leather is so soft they don't feel tight in the least. And they make my size 12 feet look quite svelte. When dancing I feel like I'm literally grabbing the floor with my feet, and the soft suede souls and arch "break" make the dance floor feel like a carpet. So, GREAT SHOE! | |

| Great for Me as a Beginner - This is my first pair of dance shoes. Although I was concerned about the "split sole" vs. the full ones that Zappos offered, my dance instructor confirmed for my wife and I that this is a good choice. Also, I ordered 6 pairs from Zappos to begin with and this one felt the most comfortable...a little snug, but my dance instructor insists that's normal and they'll stretch over time. | |

| Comfortable for Dancing - I bought this as a welcome gift for one of my new dance instructors. He's about 6'2" and is constantly teaching for almost 6-7 hours a day. He said it's very comfortable, flexible but supportive when he needs it. I recommend it for both beginner and professional dancers. The leather is glove soft. It conforms to the shape of your feet without pinching. | |

| Wish it stretched - The shoe will not stretch at the toe. The plastic or rubber toe will not widen enough for real comfort. | |
