Capita Micro-Scope Snowboard -

Just like full-sized Capita freestyle decks, the Capita Kids' Micro-Scope Snowboard features a hybrid rocker/flat camber profile and WDT Engineered Jib Core that allow young riders to learn turns and grind rails with ease. The best thing about this snowboard is its ability to allow your young rider to progress, without becoming obsolete or undesirable as he gets better. Soft enough for first turns and snappy enough to inspire confidence when learning tricks, the Micro-Scope Snowboard is sure to propel your child to new heights within the shred world.

The heel and toe sides of the board are convex in shape—curving upwards with a three degree bevel. This allows for the middle of the board to sit flush on the snow, with the edges curving upward, so your little shredder won't have to worry about catching up on freestyle terrain or variable snow surfaces. Ultra-durable ABS sidewalls and an easy to maintain extruded base allow for plenty of riding without unnecessary down time.

Weather and Wind:

  • Convex shape keeps the edges out of the snow for catch-free riding

  • Pre-Cured 420 Fiberglass keeps it nice and light with tons of flex
  • 360° tip-to-tail steel edges for tough and durable edge hold
  • Twin shape with centered stance
  • 4 x 2 Inserts
  • WDT Engineered Jib polar core for a balance of stability, power, and pop
  • Flat insert to insert, rocker from insert to tip and tail
  • HTP Extruded Base is easy to maintain and easily repaired
  • Sublimated + Silkscreened Topsheet
  • Silkscreen ABS Bombproof sidewalls are durable and high-strength
  • Color of snowboard base can vary

Capita's Micro-Scope Snowboard allows the little guy to have fun on the mountain too. With reverse camber under the bindings and a flat profile between the bindings, this board provides a playful, catch-free ride that is perfect for up-and-coming riders. With a soft flex, he'll be able to step up his skills whether he likes to take laps in the park or just take it easy cruising down the hill. Convex edges keep the edges up and out of the snow to prevent edge hook ups. The extruded base is perfect for little guys; it's low-maintenance and easily repaired just in case he decides to take it to the streets.

The House
The Capita Micro-Scope snowboard exposes fun stuff like park jumps, bumps, boxes, and freestyle terrain for smaller riders. With a convex shape, the edges are raised off the snow so smaller riders (and parents) don't have to worry about catching an edge. These boards are light, snappy, soft, and have a slight reverse camber shape making jibbing boxes a breeze. They're everything you've come to expect from a CAPiTA in a simplified, scaled down version.

Capita Micro-Scope Snowboard Review:

the microscope is the board my friends kids ride. they are some of the funnest people i ride with all year. i love chasing the microscope down the mountain. i wish i could keep up with them.
these kids rip, ride the whole mountain, 100 days a year easy.
i think the board works for them for a few reasons. the board is flat kick in nature meanint that the board is flat between the feet with reverse camber thru the nose. this allows the board to ride soft, be forgiving and initiate turns easily. the board however also has a beveled edge, so it never has to be detuned to ride the park jibs. so this board is fast, fully turnable, with a sharp edge underfoot while carving. i'm also surprised these boards hold up to the beating these kids put on stuff.
sweet graphic this year.
