Carhartt Duck Zip-To-Waist Biberalls Reviews:

Midweight bib overalls with the heat.

Just started living at 5000 ft less than a year ago and needed a pair of overalls to keep out the cold while working outdoors on a new house we are building. October and November in the South Dakota Hills can go from the high sixties to the low twenties and have had to either put on or take off the overalls as the morning heats up and the afternoon cools down.
Plenty of side and backpocket room, the hammer loop was tight and not really usable. Two side zip pockets on the front top of the bib, no place for easy pencil access . Easy on, easy off thanks to full zippers on both legs and up the middle of the bib. Not really carpenter style, but, they work. Warm when you need it. A little bulky and expensive unless you use them for long hunts. Waterproof, but needs to be treated after washing. Gave four stars because they are heavy duck canvas and will no doubt take multiple beatings and live a long lproductive life.

Carhartt Bib Overalls

The Carhartt Insulated Bib Overalls are warm and seem to be rugged. The only complant that I have is I do not like the way the suspenders connect in the front. They should have buttons instead of the clips that they have. The clips can come undone while you are bending up and down during any activity you are doing in the bibs.
I couldn't tell how the suspenders connected when I looked at the pictures on the web site before I ordered the bibs.

Carhartt Bibs

We are farmers so we spend lots of hours outside in all kinds of weather.
We needed a set of bibs that would stand up to daily use and keep us warm.
We have bought knock off brands before and they didn't last. You can tell these are much better made. The have heavier zippers and better quality fabric.
These bibs fit well and are definitely worth buying.
