The MSR AC Bivy is an ultralight shelter that gives you complete weather protection in a small, light package. If you love cowboy camping (sleeping out under the stars) then this bivy might be perfect for you. On clear nights just use it as a ground cloth, with your sleeping bag resting on top. You can fall asleep trying to determine how anybody came up with those wacky constellations (like the one that's a 6-headed hydra composed of 3 stars). If you wake up to rainfall or a storm, simply slip into the AC Bivy and go right back to sleep. It has a zippered mesh closure for ample ventilation and bug protection.
