"Super light and warm but firm" |

| I got the largest deluxe because I am tired of feeling the cold come through my down bag from the snow. This solved that problem quite well on my Rainier trip. A benefit of the ridges is that the moisture under me was trapped in the grooves and not against my down bag or me. I love that I have a huge pad with almost no weight. The deluxe name made me think the pad would be softer than it is so if you can't sleep on firm, reconsider this. Warm and light makes this the pad I will bring on each snow trip. |

"Keeps you comfortable and warm." |

| I've only used it on one trip, but it functioned beautifully--the temperature dropped well below freezing at night, but I was none the wiser with this sleeping pad below me. Not only does it keep you warm, but it's comfortable, too. I like it so much that I've been using it to sleep on the floor at home, much to my housemates' amusement... It packs less compactly than the foldable sleeping pads I've seen, but I suspect it will wear out less quickly. |

"Exactly as advertised" |

| (Review based on the large size pad): Great pad. Keeps you warm and comfy, but is useless for anything other than car camping or crashing on a friends floor. Rolled size is too big for just about any stuff sack or pack, but it will fit in your trunk (unless you drive a SmartCar). Overall, a great pad that won't break the bank, and can be used for the four season camper, but not the ultra-light trekker. |

"After 10 years of use, my Ridge rest is every bit as useful as when I bought it!" |

| Going fast and light does not mean you have to sleep on the ground. An incredible weight to warmth ratio means this little pad works overtime to keep you snoozing well. Incredibly versatile, I have used my ridgerest as a gardening kneerest, temporary dog bed, festival nap site and many many more. Sure, you can spend more on an inflatible but this baby will never burst and let you down. |

"Excellent purchase" |

| I sleep in a hennessy hammock which can get cold due to being off the ground and all. The thermarest ridgerest deluxe has solved my problems. This large size provides enough to wrap around my shoulders and full length of my body. It provides excellent insulation and is very lightweight. I love this product. |

"A no frills,solid pad" |

| No frills pad but gets the job done. Used it over the weekend in 25 degree weather. Pad kept me warm and comfortable. Would be nice if there was a carrying bag for it or a strap to keep it rolled. |

"Great by itself for cool temps great for use with a self inflating pad." |

| I like this pad. It fits me and I am 6'8" and it is rare to find things that are long enough. The only knock I have is it is not very compressible, but other than that it rocks. |

"Very light, but a little bulky." |

| Havn't used it for real yet, but it is what I was looking for. I needed a pad to go under my blowup pad in freezing weather. It seems comfortable enough, I may use it solo. |
