Caterpillar Haverhill Review:

I cannot tell, with these boots. They immediately fit, which is always good, and gave no trouble going on (boots can sometimes do this). But they are stiff. But then, is that a testament to the quality of goods in that they need to be broken in? In a year or so will they be awesome? I am sure that if I called the company, that is what they would say. I have owned a few that immediately felt comfortable (Timberland, Earthkeepers, Clarks Medway Smith), and tried on a few as well (Steve Madden Posh, Bed Stu Offbeat), and I guess the ones I owned held up pretty good (the Tims are a bit shoddy), so, but, I guess I would like to believe that these are just awesome built shoes that need to attend a few metal shoes, and be hiked through some snow drifts before they fully hit their stride, so to speak. Also of note, the tread is amazing for fashionable boots, and pretty good for boots in general (nothing compared to Tims or Doc Martens) - there seems to be proliferation of absolutely flat (albeit heeled) boots out there. not sure what world those are meant for, but over here in reality, U would imagine some grip will always be better than none at all.
