Caterpillar Active Alaska Reviews:

STYLE AND SUBSTANCE ARE YOURS! I orderded this boot with doubt, never having owned a pair of "CAT." shoes or boots before. This boot is the"CADILLAC' of boots. The material, workmanship and overall quallity of this boot is "first class". I own Timberland, Nike, OCG, boots and this boot is SUPERIOR. I have not had the chance to wear this boot in the snow and ice of New England yet, but judging from the design of the sole I will be doing fine, the tread on the footbed faces opposite from that on the heel which is somthing I have never seen. So with every step you take you are being propelled forward, and the tread is deep so it will also hold you on a safe track. This boot is so great that I am ordering another pair in brown to go with the other half of my wardrobe.

The perfect construction shoe - Occasionally I have to strap on a tool belt and work as an electrician. This shoe is great and has ample ankle support, yet flexible enough for any application. Believe what everybody says, these shoes do run a half size large; I wear a 10.5, but ordered a 10 and they fit perfect. These shoes are very high quality, not simply a cheap boot with a Caterpillar tag, these are serious boots. Great for hiking too.

A symphony for your feet - You name it, I've owned; Timberland's, Herman's Survivors, Redwing, Chippewa, Sorel, Dunhan, Rockport; and nothing comes close to these for fit, detail and comfort. Probably the finest boot ever made (yes... they were made in China, but someone inspected every single stitch). If they weren't so good looking, you'd never know you were wearing them! A superb boot from a superb internet store (I had them in 2 days... frre shipping).

Surprised - I thought that they looked sort of small when I took them out of the box, but I was relieved that they fit perfectly right from the start. Time will tell whether they are tough enough for the abuse I put them through, but so far so good!

Best footwear on earth - I have had these boots for nearly a year and they are the warmest, most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I am about to buy another pair because shoes don't get much beter than this.
