The right kind of light | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This is the right kind of light that is needed to fulfill the requirements of having front and rear lights. This is what I use on my hybrid bike.Do not confuse this with a REAL headlight system like other reviewers made. For [$] do you really expect a car-like or motorcycle-like headlight? This product is intended to be as a 'visibility marker' for both front and back. The light is bright enough to be seen pretty far away and will attract more attention when set in blink mode. I recommend buying a separate blinker in the back and clip it higher at waist level so its within a drivers eye level.Though there is enough bright light, its not enough to light up the ground or street especially when its really dark or going fast. You will need a true headlight system for that. Buy it for its intended purpose | |

Good enough for me | |

| I would probably not use these by them selves. They are good to see a little bit but I really only got them to be seen at night and to be night legal. To see at night I use a headlamp. The three of them together seem to work great. I have only had them a couple weeks and use them about 3-4 times a week so I don't know how long the battery lasts. My only complaint is that the headlight turns on too easy. When I open my bag sometimes it is lighting the way for my laptop charger. >.< | |

Good Combo | |

| The lights themselves are very nice. Compact and very bright. My only complaints are from the attachment hardware. The mount hardware for my front headlight is difficult to take on and off. I use the clip hardware for the taillight and hang it on my pack. I was having a problem with the clip wanting to slide off the pack when it was on the ground in between rides so I drilled a hole in it and zip tied it to my pack. Now I just have to make sure the light itself is securely seated in the mount. | |

A Bright Combo Keeps you Safe at Night
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I use this light combo on my commuting bike and I ride with confidence that I will be seen at night. The headlight is much brighter than other small headlights I have used and the tail light is also quite bright. Mounting is very easy and quick releases on both lights mean that you can remove the lights during daytime rides. This light combo kit is the perfect solution to safe night cycling. | |

Good starter Combo | |

| I start my evening rides in the day light and get home just after dark. This is a great light for day and night use to let drivers know you are there. Not a very bright beam but if you are riding in the city, it is great for the price. | |

Great light for short city rides

| Great light set. If you don't need to light the road (think Nite Rider "mega" light [$]) this low cost light set will improve safety. I have purchased for all three commute bikes. I never worry about charging batteries and they seem to always work when I need them. | |

Great commuter lights | |

| I wouldn't use these if there were no other lights in the city but it lights up the road in front of my bike and reflects off of stop signs about a hundred yards in front. Good use for city commuting or casual night riding | |

Falls Off | |

| This headlamp fell off of my bike repeatedly while barrelling down city streets. The tiny little clip device can not hold it onto the bar mount well enough to use with confidence. | |

Good Starter Set | |

| Good for other people to see you, but the front light isn't strong enought if you are doing a lot of night cycling. I suggest getting a stronger front light and buy a separate tail light. It just depends on what kind and how much riding you do. | |
