Empowers Kids

Our large 6 year old wanted to paddle in our tandem kayak, but the regular paddles were too large both in handle and blade. This floating paddle got her into the action, she could paddle me around for almost 500 yds and help move us along. Would get 5 stars if blade could be offset 60 degrees.

No Drip Rings = Wet Kids

This is an expensive paddle for kids and there is no excuse for not including drip ring. My kids hate this and will only kayak in winter if a towel over them to stay dry. Poor design/major oversight. PS - Does anyone know where I can buy an aftermarket drip ring?

Kids series Kayak Paddle

I bought the 6 Ft, Model 60. My 7 year old had trouble with water dripping down the shaft, since there are no drip-rings. Also the paddles are flat with no 'scoop' to them, which makes it harder to push the water. I think over all, that the shortest of the adult paddles would have been the better choice. I switched paddles with him, and he did much better and enjoyed himself after using the regular adult paddle.
