Chaco Brio

I am a dad and adventure photographer so I often go from casual settings to scrambling along a cold wet riverbank looking for the right shot on the same drive. I bought these boots because I have been wearing Chacos sandals all summer long for many years. The footbeds are of the same high quality shock absorbing material that becomes an imprint of your fit after 10 or so hours of standing in them. The treads are the same grippy rubber as the sandals. The uppers durable and stand up to water just fine. There is a thin lining that breathes well but keeps the feet warm in the cooler temps if you match it up with some wool socks. I have very sensitive (neuropathy) feet and need a comfy wide fit. These are great in that dept. Clean looks with no bells and whistles. thanks for reading.

The Chaco Brio is a great boot. At the price you pay get a comfortable boot that you can wear around on a cold afternoon or go hiking with. I wear my pair on my walk to work. I work in an office and these help me be able to walk to work with out getting my dress shoes all snowy, wet, and salty so I just put the dress shoes on when I get into work.

These shoes were noted to be waterproof on the website when I ordered them. However they are water resistant. Which is different when you a trudging through snow and puddles. I now see that they have removed them from the water resistant category. They are stylish and comfortable as long as you do not need waterproof.

I like these boots a lot. More comfortable and a little warmer than the comparable Clark's that they replaced. I live in Montana and I walk about a mile to work in them and, although the snow hasn't really started here yet, they have worked out great.

Good looking shoes, and very comfortable! Choose your size carefully, as I needed a whole size smaller than I usually need (but this is expected from other Chaco shoes I've worn).
