I've only had these shoes a few days, but so far they seem great. They have excellent arch support, and are generally very comfortable. They're not super soft and padded soles like some shoes, Merrell Chameleon for example, but they're soft enough and definitely comfortable for walking, standing, or just on your feet in the office. They seem like they'll last a good long time, and the sole is easily replaceable. I have a 5mm insert put just above the sole in most of my shoes, these seem like they'll be easy to have it done. The shoes seem to breath well, they're cooler than my full leather shoes. Because the laces go down a long way it's easy to have the shoes as tight or loose as you want over your whole foot. I originally had the Chaco Vade, but I found that around the ball of my foot they were too tight, I would've needed a larger size, but the sole was too large for my foot. The Torlan gets around that problem with the extended laces. I usually have size 8.5 shoes, but I'm a size 8 in the Chaco's.
