In the Chaco's Women's Winsome Hiking Shoe, you'll strike a stunning profile of trekking prowess and have happy feet, too. This versatile and robust shoe lets you go to the farmers' market and then on a day hike, through dimly-lit twisted alleys in Prague, or across rain-slicked cobblestone streets in London without the adventure-killing effects of weary feet.
The Winsome offers the same level of foot support as Chaco's midheight hiking boots in the Active Adventure family, but with a low-cut ankle and a sleeker upper profile due to less suede detailing. Like its kin, this shoe has a removable Luvseat footbed, a lighweight EVA midsole for cushioning, and an ESS shank for torsional support over uncertain terrain.
Your foot will have a firm clutch on the ground below due to deep lugs and a vigorous tread made from EcoTread rubber. While the sole won't stop you from sliding down your icy driveway in winter, it does offer stability and grip over slippery streets, sandy trails, or rocky roads. If the path you chose is littered with gnarly bits of gravel, chunks of dust, or clods of mud, you'll be grateful the Winsome has a gusseted tongue. Attached to both sides of the upper, the tongue prevents trail debris from entering your shoe. A polyester mesh lining also works to make certain the only thing in the shoe is your foot, as it removes excess sweat and heat.
This women’s lace-up is built with durability and adventure in mind. The Winsome is made of durable nubuck and suede uppers, as well as the long-term support and cushion of Chaco’s LUVSEAT PU footbed and cushioned EVA midsole.
