I busted my ankle years ago, and am no longer able to go out and get the cheapie $3 flip flops to run around in. If I don't have some sort of moderate amount of arch support, I'm a mess. I bought these for my trip to Hawaii, and they worked out wonderfully. Honestly, part of me was really resenting buying a pair of flip flops this expensive, but it was money well spent. I wore them to the beach, walking around at night, or even walking around all day with little discomfort (one of the straps did rub a spot on one of my toes, but I came to the island prepared with moleskin to combat any issues like that). I'd definitely recommend these for anyone with cankle issues or in dire need of arch support. I'm wanting a pair in brown now!

Love these flip flops! I have had heel spur and plantar fasciitis problems the last couple of years. I have previously worn the Chaco Zong and my heel problems improved drastically. I can now walk 4 miles a day no problem. I was interested in the Chaco flip, but was afraid they would not be as supportive as the Zong but so far so good. Now, here is the downside. The straps must be broken in. I have narrow feet and even I had a problem. But wearing a few hours at a time helped them to stretch nicely and now they are very comfortable. So if your foot is medium or even wide, be patient, it will take some time. But it is worth it to be able to wear a flip flop with awesome arch support!

These are the absolute best flips I have ever worn. I have severe plantar fasciitis and heel spurs and have been living in pain for over a year. These work better than my orthotics. I am a nurse and on my feet all day. I only wish Chaco would make a professional white shoe or even a white athletic shoe so that I could wear them for work. And a more dressy look for the thong so that they can be worn for less casual occasions. I have these in 2 colors now and will buy more in the future.

Nothing better than Chaco Flips. These are the third pair I've purchased to be sure I always have them around, as they make everything feel better as soon as you put them on. They are comfortable immediately. (I also have a pair of the leather flips, but the straps are not as comfortable.) I spent a few days walking all over New York with a variety of good walking shoes, but ended up resorting to my Chacos for the ultimate comfort experience. Even around the house I'll put them on rather than be barefoot to feel less tired. Love them!

I had been running 5 miles a couple of times a week for the last few years without any injury or foot problem. Then I forgot to stretch after a week "off" of the routine and as a result, I caused an arch/heel issue and have been dealing with that for the last 9 months. The only thing that give relief is my Chaco flips which I wear constantly when possible. I don't leave my bed in the morning without them! They give wonderful support and I'm now looking at adding another style to my selection.

I love these shoes! Unlike others I had to go down a size, I normally wear a 8 but in these I wear a 7. I picked them up at REI when they were on sale. \r\n\r\nI have them in 2 colors and I wear them all the time. The arch support is great and they are very stylish. \r\n\r\nThey did take wearing a few times to break them in, they were a bit tight along the top of the foot. Since then I have had no problems. \r\n\r\nI would highly recommend these shoes. \r\n\r\n

I really like the Chaco flip flops because they have very good arch support. Because the website said they were true to size, I ordered a size 6 (my usual size) and it turned out to be way too tight on my foot rare for a flip flop. The size 7, though still snug, feels much better. As I have worn them, they have stretched a bit, so they are quite comfortable now. So my advice is to order the next size up.

I have a high arch and plantar fascitis and Chaco Flip is the only flip-flop I can wear. They are specially engineered and I have absolutely no pain even after walking for hours. I wear a size 8 but I size up as this flip is quite narrow. The black flip looks good with skirts or shorts. This is my second summer with Chaco after years of suffering with Teva Mush flip-flops.

I bought these flip flops for my daughter who is sailing in the Caribbean for a year. She requested them for her birthday. Although expensive for a flip flop, they are well worth the money! Not only do they have great arch support (amazing for a flip flop), they are also sturdy and extremely comfortable. I definitely will have to buy a pair for myself.

I love these flip-flops! This is probably my 10th pair of Chacos. I wear them all year round in the south. They have good arch support and don't "fly" off your feet when you walk like other flip-flops. I only wish that the soles were black instead of brown on the red pair. I have them in all colors!
