Chaco Hipthong Two Ecotread Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I bought these as a replacement for my worn out, beat up pair. Much to my relief, they are much the same - although the secondary straps are now stretchy. I love this Chaco design, because it doesn't have the high arch of the thicker Chaco footbed, which makes them much more comfortable for my narrow, high-arched foot. The footbed is also more flexible, leading to better grip on rough terrain. They are also gentle on my bunion, and the toe strap super comfortable. My only complaint is that the strap colors are not nearly as cute or varied as they were a few years back. What's up with the conservative colors, Chaco? Anyway, I can walk forever in this sandal in great comfort. Love it.

I love these flips! I've been looking for a comfortable well fitting flip flop for years and I finally found it. I can walk all day in these and they stay on my feet (adjustable straps) and give me the support I need. I'm so sold that I bought a second pair in prep for this next summer. The foot bed makes the first few days of breaking them in a bit uncomfortable, but once you wear them a bit you get used to them...and you'll love that they don't slip off your feet in the water. I wear them until the weather is too cold...and then in the winter I wear them around the house.

This sandal is like wearing a glove.

This sandal is like a glove. I have alot of numbness in my right foot, and its hard to walk. But with the arch support in this sandal I don't have any problems. Love this shoe and would like to have this same style in different colors. I keep a watch for them all the time to try and get them when they are on sale. (On a fixed income) otherwise I would be buying them all the time. In other words I LOVE MY SANDALS. Thanks so much for makeing them afforadable for me...

No flop indeed!

First of all the colour black, until they come up with something darker, this is it! Secondly, for walking in beach sand these are perfect, no flip flop loss; shallow water walking is also no problem, the tread keeps them from slipping around and the pattern on the footbed holds your foot in place, no slipping out the back. Thanks for the great service, right on time as stated.

I would buy this product again and again

I have always searched for a shoe to support my high arch. Never have I had such a good fit and support. I immediately started wearing them daily, and loved them so much, a week later I ordered another pair. Absolutely love them! I was worried about them being a "flip flop" but with extra straps, they don't flop and keep a tight, secure fit. Highly recommend this shoe.

My new GO-TO shoe

I am not a sportswoman . .. but everyone I know has Chacos so I had to have some, too. I'm not sorry! I got them on sale and they are the most comfortable shoes I've worn in a while. I wear them as often as I can get away with it!

So far so good

I have only wore these a few times so far. They are very comfortable. My feet are very wide so the straps are tight right now. Once they are broken in they will be a great sandal. (I purchased the womens version even though the top says mens.)

My A#1 'go to' shoe for frequent trips to rugged areas of Southern Mexico (Oaxaca/Tehuantepec). They not only look nice with lots of kinds of clothes, they are sturdy and 'hug' uneven pavement very well. Very reliable and comfortable. Why not make more colors?

I love this sandal. My podiotrist suggested Chaco sandals for my plantar facitis and I must agree that they are helping me heal. One thing to note is that they are not instant slip on. I have to losen/tighten them when I wear them.

Wonderful Shoe

These sandals are very comfortable. I love the arch support. I am a college student so these are my favorite sandals for longs days on campus when I will be walking a lot.

Neutral Reviews:

Chaco should have never changed the original Hipthong design. The inner cross straps are no longer adjustable and they are too tight on the arch! Boo Chaco!
