Offering a fashionable, multi-strap, free heel look that goes great with skirts and casual wear, the Chaco Wrapsody Sandal for women also supports the foot for all day comfort whether traveling or just running errands. The soft polyester webbing feels comfortable against the skin and pulls through channels underneath the foot for easy adjustment on those chilly days that call for wearing socks. Like all sandals in Chaco's Z/rivative line, the Chaco Wrapsody sandal is equipped with a durable, non-marking EcoTread outsole, known for all-terrain traction if your walks take you beyond the city streets. To support extended time on your feet, Chaco developed the BioCentric footbed contour, included as an integral part of the Chaco Wrapsody sandal. Carrying the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association, this footbed contour aligns the foot in the neutral position for a healthy, biomechanically correct stride. Narrow, adjustable straps and an open-toe design make the Wrapsody a stylish, kick-on-and-cruise sandal. A minimalist concept matched with our BioCentric footbed creates a sporty, free heel sandal that's perfectly matched for casual endeavors. The EcoTread outsole is made from 25% recycled rubber, reducing Chaco's impact on the environment.
The Chaco Women's Wrapsody is light enough for summer; supportive enough for a day of wandering. Minimalism combined with BioCentric™ footbed provide a sleek and comfortable ride.
For post-hike hangouts, lazy days on the river, or casual in-town affairs, the Chaco Women’s Wrapsody Sandal features an adjustable, slide-on design that bridges the gap between sporty and stylish. The BioCentric footbed provides solid arch support, and the EcoTread recycled rubber outsole grips urban sidewalks or riverside slickrock. This is my first pair of Chacos, and I couldn't be happier with them. They are comfortable, they fit well and stay on my feet, and they're super cute! I sometimes have a hard time finding shoes that fit just right because I have wide feet and one is slightly smaller than the other, but with Chacos being 100% adjustable, I was able to find the perfect fit for both feet. I was skeptical at first because I had trouble getting the straps adjusted just right. It took me about a week to get them how I wanted them and for the straps to stay put. But now they've stopped shifting and they fit perfectly every time. (So don't give up! It's worth it!) It also took me a little bit of time to get used to the textured footbed (if you're not used to Chacos). It sort of rubbed my foot funny for the first few times I wore them, but again, now I'd say they're some of the most comfortable shoes I own. So if you're looking for a functional sandal that's also cute, durable, adjustable, and comfortable, this is the one! Highly recommended.

| Slightly partial to the Chaco brand myself (this is my 3rd pair). The wrapsody is my first experience with their slide-ons and I found the strap adjustments required more attention than other backed styles. When I actually noticed the fitting instructions on the box it made a huge difference and the shoe feels more secure on my foot, not to mention lighter (originally, I was disappointed that they felt heel-heavy). I haven't tried hiking in these yet, although it would seem to be more work keeping your foot from sliding out while going up hill versus a backed version. One of the best features of this sandal is the "biocentric footbed" and noticable arch support that cradles the foot. I wear these while standing 8 hours a day at work and walking around the city. Needless to say, I enjoy the extra support under those conditions. Lastly, I'd recommend buying from Sierra. They have the best prices online - and I did my research! | |

| I have two pair of the Chacos and love them both! The continual loop strapping system keeps the fit adjusted perfectly every step of the way and the soles are very supportive, energizing, and just feel good. At 49 years old, I try to be careful with what I put on my feet and both styles of these women's sandals have worked out beautifully for me. They fit well, feel great, and I have lots of energy after a long day on my feet at work or walking through cities or woods. A good friend has had a pair (different style) of Chacos for many years and says that they last forever and have served him well. Brava! | |

great fit for my narrow foot.

| My daughter-in-law recommended Chaco sandals to me as they have great "fit" adjustment. So when I saw these on sale, I studied the reviews. I went to the Chaco web site for their sizing guide to be sure I got the right length. I usually wear a 10.5 narrow. I went with the 10 and they are fine. I did the strap adjusting and there is no way they would slip off my feet as a few reviewers indicated. After setting them up for my feet there was a lot of strap "tail" left that I cut off and reinforce stitched with my sewing machine. I am very happy with them... finally sandals for a narrow foot. | |

"Super comfortable with Great support and free toes! Plus, easy to clean! Great for airport travel!"

| I LOVE these sandals!!!!! They are easily the most comfortable shoes I own, besides my other Chacos. The Chacos fit like a glovewith Great arche support. I could hike or run around town for hours, and still not have sore feet! Plus, I feel like i have the support of a sneaker and the freedom of a sandal all in one!!! I mean, these Chacos are so, so convenient. I can slip them on and off with no hassle when i go through security at the airport. I can try on shoes and/or clothes easy. I can even wear them to the pool, the beach, or an amusement park with no worries about them getting wet. | |

| Patience required for a good fit - Maybe it's because I wear a half-size and was forced to go up a half size for these, but it takes lots of experimenting with the straps to get a good fit. I tested these indoors for two weeks (adjusting the whole time) before I felt like they fit well enough to keep them. Then when I wore them outside in real-life conditions, I had to adjust them again and again (now happy with the left, still working on the right). I also had to adapt to the firm arch support. But, these sandals are well-made, rugged, and in the end, comfortable. I like the style and colors, too. | |

My favorite 'casual' chaco

When I first got these shoes, I hated them. I already had Z2's and the flip flops, so I had very high expectations of chacos. The first day I got them I walked a few miles, and they drove me crazy. The straps would not stay put... they kept sliding and tightening. I was tempted to return them, but decided to give them a chance.

"The Best Sandal I have Ever Worn!"

| Seriously. I know it sounds a little extreme, but I love sandals and this one just made the top of my list. The arch support is fantastic and it stays on my foot despite the lack of a heel strap. Stays comfortable through an entire football game, and I go to a school where we really know how to drag out a football game. And we, the student section, stand for the entire game. Also stands up to shopping trips, fishing trips, and those moonlit walks on the beach. Sorry this was such a long review, but I want everyone to know how much I like these shoes. | |

Excellent Summer Sandal

| I purchased this product for the good arch support and the ease of slipping into them. Fit adjustment is quite simple and takes a few minutes. I have narrow feet and used all the available cinching adjustment, so keep that in mind. Not sure if Chaco makes sandals for narrow widths. I used the sandal from hiking on mountain trails (I live in the Sangre de Cristo Mtns), riding my bike, to shopping at the grocery store. The sandals didn't skip a beat. My foot didn't slide around. The straps kept my foot in place comfortably. Move over Keen, I love my Chacos! | |

| Wrapsody returned - These are a WIDE Medium width sandal. There is a lot of width in the toe area. With the straps wrapping farther back on the foot than most sandals, you'll need to get that first strap pretty tight to keep toes from flopping. They were nice and light, & if my foot were wider through the toe area I'd probably have kept them, but would have had to trim off the side buckle strap once I got them adjusted because to get them to fit my foot I had about 2 inches of strap dragging the ground. | |

| When I first tried on this shoe it was in my normal size and it was too small. I ordered up one size and I still wasnt sure. It pinched a little on one side of one foot and I had a difficult time getting the straps right so they wouldn't fall off my feet. I decided to wear them around for awhile and after 2 hours my feet hurt so badly I had to take them off. My feet have hurt since and I am now on an anti inflammatory to relieve the pain. This is a pretty shoe for someone who wants comfort and a little style but I caution they can be bad news for some. | |

| Follow up on my original review, after wearing it outside for a day i realize that while at first it semeed confortable, it just doesn't stay on! I tried adjusting the straps many times from loose to tight and everything in between but it just doesn't stay on unless you squeeze your toes to keep it on. Also, when the straps were tight, it actually rubbed through my skin and made me bleed, i ended up walking barefoot home on concerete for 1 mile in 35 degree weather- not great! I really wanted to love these like everyone else but it just didn't work out. I'm going back to teva's with heal straps. I will be returning these. | |

| Straps are frustrating - These were very comfy when I wore them around my apartment. However, as soon as I walked any distance in them, the lower 3 straps would start to tighten up as I walked. If I didn't stop to readjust them every minute or so, they would tighten until they squeezed my foot out of the shoe. Now, I have rhapsody-shaped blister lines across the top of my foot and a fairly pricey pair of shoes I can't wear. Maybe there is something wrong with my pair? I'm going to see if I can return them even though I have worn them outside. | |

not for small feet | |

My sister-in-law raves about chaco sandals all the time. I wear a size 5. These didn't tighten enough to keep my foot in and when they are all the way tightened...the extra amount of nylon strap hangs over about 4-5 inches...so you can walk on it??? I'm jealous of people with "normal"sized feet but if you are going to make a small size shoe/sandal all the straps should work with it.

| So disappointing! I owned a pair of Chaco's that I loved, but these, though more versatile in appearance, killed my feet. Without the help of an ankle-strap, the cute little criss-crosses, no matter how tight or loose I made them, wore giant blisters on the top of my feet. Great for getting complimented on their appearance, they just aren't suitable for walking more than a few hundred feet. | |

| I love Chaco sandals. I own 2 pair of the Z/1s. I liked the look of the wrapsody. Unfortunately I couldn't keep them on my feet. When I walked in them from one end of the house to the other they ended up coming off my feet. I tried readjusting but just couldn't get them to stay on. Moosejaw has been really super about my return. | |

Very cute sandals. However, the edges of the straps on my sandals were sharp (think edge of melted webbing sharp) and would periodically slice into my feet if not perfectly flat. If you were a half size, I'd suggest going up to the next whole size - they seem to run a bit small.

| Not like the original Chacos - Looked great, felt terrible. I guess I don't like the Cross Currents series as much as the original Chaco sole. I wanted one from this series for the much-less-clunky look (to go with the bikini on the boat), but they just aren't working out for me! This one felt particularly narrow. And it basically felt as if I'd lashed some plastic stuff to the bottom of my feet with nylon straps. I tried on my old Chacos, and there was no comparison - it was like night and day. The old Chaco feels as if it were made for my foot, and the sole itself helps keep it secure. Of the Cross Currents shoes, the Hipthong was better -- but disappointingly, the thong strap does not adjust, and the sole still just doesn't compare. | |

| So cute, but the strap system just doesn't work (for me) I love the way these look. Took some time to adjust the straps, but finally got it comfortable (I thought). I'm living and working in SE Asia where it is hot and humid and I do a fair bit of walking. The straps are constantly needing to be readjusted (after just 15 minutes of walking...). I didn't just get blisters from these, but actual cuts into the top of my feet. With time they are getting more comfortable, but the straps still move and my right foot tends to end up all the way at the back of the shoe. | |

| Rating: | ![]() |
| Having LOVED a pair of Unaweeps and taken them to several countries plus into and out of the Aegean Sea and out to dinner, I had high hopes for other Chaco styles. But alas - these types without the strap in back to keep them on are not the same. My feet are contorting and contracting all the time to keep them from slipping off, and get tired quickly. No good for a walk, even to the drugstore! And yes, I think I have them adjusted right! | |

Good shoe, issues with straps

| These are my first pair of Chacos and I think these sandals are great and were a great purchase for the price - I bought them to go on vacation in Kauai. I wore them a lot and had no issues with the right shoe, but the left shoe, as I walk, cinches up and gets tight. I cannot get the straps to stay put and feel like I am constantly re-adjusting. I don't have any issues with them falling off. | |

Needs break-in period; fab arch support
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I love the arch support these sandals exhibit as I have a very high instep, but the straps are somewhat uncomfortable on the outer part of my foot where they all intersect. My foot must be a little wider in that area, so hopefully they will stretch with time and become a favorite. I pulled on the straps a bit to see if they would loosen and that seemed to help for the time being. Very cute and sporty appearance. | |

| I like Chaco sandals in general. I have 4 pairs. I have a pair of orange Wrapsody sandals too. It looks great. Orthopedically very good too. But I must say this pair, Wrapsody is my least favorite Chaco one among all. Adjusting is difficult and even after adjusting it cuts the feet here and there. I lent it to a friend recently. Not having another pair of Chaco, she said she liked them. | |

| Straps don't fit - I'm sad these didn't fit; I was really excited to get them. First they seemed too short for a 10M. Then--The first 2 straps were snug which I'm sure would have been good once worn, but the second two straps were very loose. Even on the smallest setting, the last strap was too big. Just printed out the return slip... | |

| I really liked the sandals and thought they would stay on because of Chacos one strap deal (I could pull it as tight as I wanted) but while walking around the strap loosened. I would continuously have to pull the strap tighter. Liked the colors offered, but I needed something more constricting that would stay on all day so I bought the ZX/2. | |
