Racing Chacos!! I have been wearing Chacos since they hit the east coast in my local specialty outdoor store, at least five years ago. I had one pair of the original Zongs and after I got them adjusted I literally wore them three seasons a year, walked, got them wet, ran and hiked from the sidewalks of Amsterdam and Berlin to the sands of Negril, Jamaica. I loved those sandals. I cried when I had to put them away for the winter. The soles were wearing kind of bald and I was thinking of sending them back to Chaco for re-soling. About a month ago, when shopping with my daughter A STRAP BROKE - they are one continuous adjustable strap so it was not fixable. It was Sunday and stores were closing. I raced home, very upset, went on line and ordered a new pair from ZAPPOS at around 8 pm. Next day I went to work and when I got home THEY WERE IN MY LIVING ROOM!! YAY ZAPPOS!!!! My daughter said they arrived around 2 pm Monday afternoon LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER I EMAILED THE ORDER. Great service, great product and NO postage, you can't beat it.

Rugged quality - I had been tromping around in flip flops for about a year and worn them down to nothing, so I decided it was time for an upgrade. These shoes were no let down. As soon as I slipped them on I felt a world of support that flip flops had never given. They have a great feel to them. It took about a week to get the straps adjusted just right, and another week more for my feet to get used to the side strap on the inside of the shoe. I'm not impressed with the tread on the bottom though. Doesn't look like it will grip slippery surfaces...

I love these shoes. I’ve had them for a year now. At first I was not able to wear them for long periods of time because the toe strap pulled my big toe too hard to the inside of my foot - ouch. I’ve never adjusted the straps - maybe I should have. New summer season and I’ve become totally comfortable in the shoe and wear them all the time. Great arch support. Well made. They are great looking and I’ve had many compliments. I found them true to size.

Great for wide women's feet! I bought this after I found that women's Chacos just didn't fit right on my feet. My feet are wide, and neither the women's 8 or 9 was quite right. I also felt like the arch just wasn't in the right place. I tried on the men's 7 and it was a perfect fit! Because some of the styles are similar to the women's version, I recommend these for anyone who's looking for a slightly different fit.

I was very happy about my purchase from Zappos.com. I bought some Chaco Zong outdoor sandals. They're great shoes and are nearly indestructible; my dog chewed up a strap on my last ones while I was out of town and they still lasted another ten years. I thought it was finally time to upgrade, but I liked them so much I just bought the same ones. They're great. And with Zappos shipping, they came in 2 days.

These are by far the best sandals I've ever had. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, chiefly due to the incredible arch support. Having said that, when I first got them I had a little trouble adjusting the straps to fit my feet perfectly, but once I wore them for a few days the straps just adjusted themselves to my feet. Now these shoes feel like they were made specifically for my feet!

ALL straps are adjustable! For people who cannot figure out these shoes, just pull on the straps... they are all adjustable and the shoe is very comfortable once you figure that out. I like these a lot. Don't really remember what size I bought or if they are true to width, which probably means they are. I like Keen, but this is a nice change. Keen is sometimes a bit rugged for everyday wear.

These straps make me crazy!!!!!!!!! I love Chaco’s and it's one of the few sandals I can wear without bothering my plantar, but these straps!!!!!!! It's maddening trying to get them right! Argh!!!!!! But I still love them, hence the 4 stars!

The Chaco Zong is a great sandal. The arch support is great and it wears like a tennis shoe. Would recommend this sandal to anyone. It is comfortable and keeps your foot secure.

These shoes are great. I have flat feet. They are comfortable and have terrific arch support. I use the shoes for supportive house slippers. The toe holder was comfortable from the start.

I was very disappointed in the fit of these sandals. I usually wear a size 9 in men's, but these sandals were so small I went up to size 11, and still my heel was falling off the end. I also have a wider foot. I read the instructions on the straps and no matter how I adjusted the straps, it was too tight and it cut into me. I found I had better luck with the Earth sandals instead.

A bit uncomfortable at the start of the heel; if you tighten the straps so you don't make the flip flop sound as you walk the straps cut into you, and again if you don't then all you do is make horrendous sounds as you walk. The style seems that it should be more comfortable than it actually is, I would not recommend these.

Not worth the hype for me - Perhaps all the great reviews of these sandals set my expectations too high, but I am not as satisfied as most appear to be. My biggest issue is the straps. The footbed seems comfortable and there is definitely good arch support, but I don't know they are that much better than the Tevas I have worn for years. But the straps are a real problem for me. If I adjust them as described and as shown, the left sandal tightens up as I walk. I would have returned these if it didn't take walking outside on pavement before realizing this. If I loosen the straps to where this does not happen, my feet tend to work out of the shoe as I walk, causing me to have to stop and re-adjust them. Also, the left one seems to twist due to where the straps hit. I normally have no problems with any shoes I buy, which are normally high-end brands. Unfortunately, I might use these around the yard and go back to my Tevas for longer outdoor use. Also, I have watched the video and followed the instructions in the box and spent hours trying to tweak these straps, so I did give them a fair shot.
