Reloading Bench Necessity!

The best addition to my gun room ever! If you are selecting a new gun for a young hunter, nothing helps you match a caliber to a hunter and game like the CCG. This is a valuable tool when planning any hunt or experimenting with a new load or bullet. I wish I had this 20 years ago!

Great Guide

This manual is a great guide to selecting the right cartridge for your hunting/shooting application. There is a lot of great information and it is a great asset to my reloading manuals. They do state it is NOT a reloading manual, also that the right cartridge for you is a personal choice. They have done a lot of work in putting this guide together. I just wish it was a software so you could put criteria in, for the comparisons quicker (hopefully in the future). They have left out some information or left out some charts. One example is on page M-24, they have put in the totally incorrect chart leaving a huge gap on the "Velocity & Energy" chart between bullet weights of 87 Grs to 165 Grs (not forgivable). Also they should of put tabs on the pages to separate the different sections like: Cartridge Name; Caliber; Bullet Weight, so on. To make the sections easier to find. Like I said, it is a great guide, with a lot of information, but it does still need some refining. It takes a lot of work to get through the information, but most of the information is there.
